Yes, he's a busy man, it's not easy being a genius.. But you never know, he might have extra time now with the strike and all, if only we had his address. A certain writer would be receiving a complimentary copy of 'Go ask Malice' in his letter-box...

I'm just waiting for someone to get completely fed up with our GAMIC! ranting.

you guys are so funny...because of your said ramblings I now want to read the book...the way that the series ended they left things so open for interpration and fantasy in your own mind for what happened to the characters we all love so much. Faith has always been a character that has left so many questions unanswered...the book may answer some of those questions. Whether or not our Genious Creator of all things Buffy took the time to tell us more about Faith or not is irrelevant, the point is someone took the time to give Faith a back story in an effort for the buffy masses to be on one page about her...if it ties in as nicely as you say whos to say that Joss wouldnt agree with the things written and dub it as TRUE Faith? I totally think we should send him a copy if its that good and ask that he agree or not agree with what is in the book about her...maybe if he doesnt agree he would be so kind as to give us more insight into the mystery of Faith! hahahaha hope that wasnt too confusing....
 
Wow, all so well said. 🙂 I'm glad we've amused you, instead of getting on your nerves. But GOOD GOOD you're seeing things the way we do, a bit, I think... But yeah all in good fun my friend. 🙂 You said it, the book answered my questions, and even if it's the canon at the end of the day, I actually still understood Faith better because of it.
 
Is it wrong to still hold out hope that there may someday be a Faith show? Even if Joss didnt write it...I mean do you think he would ever realese the rights to her and his other characters? So he's tired of TV, he would still make milllions in royalties? Does he realize just how many fans suffer from withdrawal of not KNOWING what happens next?...even if it wasnt Buffy it would still have ties that bind and well we would have insight to at least one or more of the characters and what happens to them. MORE MORE MORE..........boohoo (and yes I am aware of the comic book its just NOT THE SAME) 🙁 🙁 🙁

so yeah sorry for the rant but did anyone else cry near the end of season 7 just because it was going to be the END of Buffy on the boobtube? I did...I cried just because it was over LOL
 
Do not apologise for the ranting. I'm totally with you on this, in fact many posters on here are with you! I sometimes ask myself am I stupid/lame for still watching Buffy eps over and over, still buying merch.. Still reading fanfiction, still analysing it, still reading the novels and still looking it up on the net... Nah, I know I'm not stupid or lame. I hope so anyway lol.

No, it's not wrong to hold out the hope. 🙂

Guess thats all the "Genious" Joss there. Although the actors where phenominal at portraying their characters...I dont think there was a single character that didnt make you care for them in some way...even the bad guys got the feeling out of their audience and that is due to the actors playing the parts and the writing of the show!

just a thought...I know when I read the interview about season 8 before it came out Joss talked about a movie that fell threw and the possible spin off Show of Faith...he said the networks didnt pick it up...but if enough fans petioned the network maybe they would grace us with the show? I mean hey it worked to bring back Family Guy to Fox...:thought: pondering :thought:
 
I would be all for it, it'd be worth the try and effort... But there's the writer's strike, the new show Joss has signed with Eliza... Hey... You know what would be cool? If this 'project' Joss signed with Eliza, was actually really the Faith spin-off, but they wanted to keep it hush-hush, so they came up with a different title and story for the TV series, to surprise Buffy fans...

I have a wild imagination, wishful thinking.

seriously though anything with the two of them would be amazing. Though I cant see Faith fans picturing her as anything but Faith if Joss was writing a character for her. We will see though.....

That would be amazing !! 😀 But unlikely. But amazing!!

Go Ask Malice is just another great piece of the Buffyverse!! yet it isn't.. cause it's not canon :cry: But it is cause it's set in the Buffyverse.. :s

I felt bad about getting off-topic! Sowwy!

Anyway,

Like I said earlier, reading this book... Even while it's not canon, helped me understand Faith a bit more. The complexity of this character - I love finding out whatever I can, another reason I enjoyed the Faith arc in Season 8.

Yea I know! I loved learning about how Faith came to be and how she dealt with things at that time in her life. I loved the Faith arc too!! I just wish they found a way to get her actually back with everyone so she could continue on and actually be in the next comics :cry: I love seeing her and always want more! Hopefully she'll show up again and maybe stay! : king :
 
Yeah! Hopefully her and Buffy can work out their problems, and be very very close friends! 😉

Faith's 'violent outbursts' explained a lot about her character, in 'Go ask Malice', I think.
