As always ... I read too much. I’m at 51 so far.

24, which I usually hit easily, but I just haven't been reading as much this year.
 
I think I set mine at 6 this year and I'm still trying to finish the first one 😀

I've decided that if I start 4 books and read a quarter of each before I give up, the parts can be totaled - hence it counts as one book. By my reckoning I've read about 16 books this year - couldn't tell you how any of them end. 🙂
 
I'm currently writing page 22 of a two book series, the first book was of 163 pages which I finished three weeks ago. I'm still trying to find a fitting title to the books that deal with psychic abilities, the supernatural, the paranormal and the occult.

I did pick up a book and read the front cover the other day, it was an auto-biographical book about the record breaking Australian cricket player Ellyse Perry, does that count for anything?

This is a list of the reasons I don't feel obliged to read every (any?) book I own (and I have/had thousands). It's from Italo Calvino, If on a Winter's Night a Traveler (which, ironically, is on my bookshelves and I have read, alongside 7 others by the same author, three of which I've read and forgotten). @Puppet - read the list and ingest. I had a bit of a reading fest at the weekend, I was pet sitting at my mother's and she didn't have the internet in which I waste so much time, so I got books read, I'm now back on track with the reading challenge at 10 books read currently
