Grey's Anatomy

Oh yeah there are tons of actors I have seen on other show who are also on Grey's Anatomy. In fact it amuses me to recognize them, except when I know I have ever seen this face but can't remember where
 
I'm on the final of season 10. Yang leaves the Grey Sloan Hospital, which means that Sandra Oh leaves the show. Another character that was there since the beginning is leaving. I must say that I didn't like Yang immediatly. I don't really know why, she just didn't warm me, but her character grew on me a lot during the time she was with Owen, since season 5 I would say, before that I didn't hate her but I was quite indifferent to her and now she is leaving and I'm really sad. For the first time since I started to watch this show, I don't know if I will survive to the departure of a character I like.
 
I watched Grey's through season 12 but so much of the original cast has left that I stopped watching. I like Meredith, but am not really interested in her current storyline. I also liked April and Jackson but their story is kind of sad up through 12.

I'm trying to decide if I should get caught up to watch these.
 
No I don't watch any spinoff of Grey's Anatomy, I don't even watch Private Practice, maybe I will do one day because I love Addison. Kate Walsh is wonderful in that role !!!

Awww No I'm sad to think to Addison, by the time Grey's Anatomy was on its season 10 Private Practice was over, so Why they didn't put again Addison on grey's ? She missed me 🙁 Izzie missed me 🙁 Lexie missed me 🙁 Sloan missed me 🙁 Cristina will miss me but Burke, George and Denny don't miss me 😛. Why Shonda ? Why are you doing all of that to me ?
 
Just watched episode 5 of season 11 : the breaking up of Calzona ! I have a strange feeling, I really liked Callie and Arizona together but the rupture hasn't a bif effect on me. And I feel sad to not be sad about that (if that's make sense). I think I lost some interest in the relationship when Arizona cheated on Callie.
 
Questions for those who have seen season 11 : Did the Kepner's pregnancy storyline have sense for you ?

I mean in one episode we learnt she is pregnant. Few episode later we know that her baby has an important malformation and will probably die few hours after the birth. April decided to not abort because she is a believer and hope for a miracle. Finally, childbirth is triggered and she has her baby. And the next episode, Jackson says "April just lost the baby" 😵😵😵 BUT we didn't see that, we just saw the birth not the death. Is that normal ?

If I remember correctly, the death occurs only moments after the birth
DEREK is DEAD ! Nooooooooooooooooooo This show is killing me. This episode was sooooooooooo sad. I can't stop crying.

I knew he was going to die because I was spoiled. But even if I knew I was like "maybe I misunderstood, maybe it's not the same Derek, maybe it's not in this episode" , I really want to believe it but then I remembered the name of the creator of this show "Shonda" and all the hope deserted my body.

I have not disused Grey's Anatomy, just stopped for a while. I have just resume on season 11 episode 18-19 and it's the episode of Derek's death 😵😵😵. Well, good, perfect, really it's the perfect episode to reconnect me with the show ^^^ seriously !!!
 
I gave up the second I found out Sarah Drew and Jessica Capshaw are being written out of the show... And all this Pierce/Jackson thing... NOOOOOOooOOOOOOOOooo

I have heard the news.. I wanted to stop watching me too but I survived the departure of so many characters I loved that I tell myself I will survive to that too.... if I survive to derek's death in first of course

They're just.... My favourite. Well, There's Alex. But damn I hate Jo. I want to kick her in the face. I think I still haven't given up hope that he will be with Izzy lmao.
Sometimes I feel like maybe Derek's death should have been the end of the show. It was too perfect.
 
I like Jo as a character but Jolex is just boring. My problem is I was too much involved in the story of Alex and Izzie, I can't believe someone else is Alex's soulmates.

This was that last full episode I watched. So sad.
 
I'm wondering something : Many fan stopped watching the show after the death or departure of Cristina, Lexie, Izzie, Derek, Mark, Georges, and probably others which I don't think now. How Grey's Anatomy can loose so much fans and still be airing and have important ratings/hearings nowadays ?
 
Yeah. Jolex makes no sense to me. And I i really don't like how Pierce and Jackson couple are being forced on the viewer. they have no chemistry!!

Am I the only one who hated Izzy from the beginning ? 😛

I think the show is mainstream enough to attract not only fans but casual watchers as well. In France, every person that I know has seen at least a couple of episodes. It's on during lunch hour and certain evenings so people tune in. Same goes for Desperate Housewives and Friends.

She had her moments! I think... I don't remember now. Lmao. I just remember Alex being in love with her and Idk I loved them together. He made her better I think. What I hated was the whole Denny thing. Just. Ugh.

Yep. Same here. Don't even have to follow the story much lmao. For some it's even impossible. But I have a friend who've watched all 10 season in 2 weeks or so.... Just to catch up with Japril love story hahah

LOL I didn't hate Izzy the whole time, but I really disliked how she treated Alex in the end.

I was always more of a fan of Izzy/Denny.

I also really like Jolex. I think they fit really well.

But, the show has gone on too long to the point it has turned into a soap opera. Hardly any of the original cast remains. Meredith's the most boring character on her own show when she used to be the most interesting and the reason why everyone tuned in. Sometimes you need to stop while you're ahead.
They should have ended it when Patrick Dempsey (the actor who plays Derek) wanted to leave the show. They should have just left Mer/Der alone and ended the show on a high note.
However, I continue to watch except this season because I don't have cable so I need it to be put on Netflix
