I have always wanted to go to Rome for it's historical factors and the fact that I am a practicing Catholic. My husband has been there and I am extremely jealous. 🙂
I know Rome very well, and there's a lot to see. I go there at least twice a year and I stay there for weeks. Ask me anything you want to know, I'll be happy to help. Some brief lesson in Italian? Now, this would be great 🙂I'd like to travel a little next year for my vacation. Maybe to Rome... I've wanted to go there for a long time... anyone been?
You absolutely have to see Pompeii because is amazing. It's in the Italy's southern part and is very far from Rome.I was there a week but I barely saw any of the things I wanted. So many museums and I really wanted to take the trip to Pompeii.

Rome is full of churches, cathedrals, old bell towers and "Her Majesty" the dome of St. Peter.I have always wanted to go to Rome for it's historical factors and the fact that I am a practicing Catholic. My husband has been there and I am extremely jealous. 🙂
Congress, conferences, work-study. Updates courses biannual with my Supervisor, but I also find time for enjoyment 😀Really? Wow, how come you go there so often? Realtives? Work? Either way seems awesome 🙂
Well I'm planning to go there next year so I haven't started thinking particularly concretely about things yet but when I do I'll make sure to ask. For Italian lessons as well for sure! I could use them 😀
The only thing I like about "TGIQ" is listen David say a few words in Italian ...priceless 😀If there are Italian lessons going, count me in! 😀

Wow, Rome sounds amazing! It's on my bucket list for sure.
We are down in the south on an island. Got a beach house for the week. It's soooo nice.
First time daughter has been to the ocean. Only drawback is that we are all really sick. Had to take her to a clinic on the island. Sinus infection and two ear infections. Husband lost his voice and I am coughing up a lung.
We are gradually all getting better though. And we still have a lot of time here.
So relaxing!!

Oh that sucks, being sick on your holiday!
I really hope you guys get better soon.
How is your daughter reacting to the ocean? 🙂
Well this summer we're having in Stockholm is driving me bonkers - it's every other day weather! Hot and cold, hot and cold... I would prefer for it to stay hot but even more so I'd like it to be consistent!
I've got two more weeks of work and than vacation (more or less).... can't wait, can't wait, can't wait 😀
We're having the same thing in Canada. Today is rainy and cold, yesterday was sunny and hot. It's driving me insane! This always results in me dressing summer warm on warm days and super light on really cold days, I can't seem to get this right lol.
Yay for the vacation though! Do you have any plans?
Then I'm not alone! It may be a trivial weather concern but it's super annoying 🙂
I've got a new apartment so I'm moving! Which is a fun pain kind of... I'll be happy when it's done and all is in order. I do like the unpacking though and organizing. The carrying stuff around part is the pain I mentioned 😉 And when it is done I'm going up north in Sweden to hike with my dogs for a week and that should be a lot of fun!
What about you? 🙂
What a coincidence, I just moved too!! I totally feel your pain, I'm super lucky I got a bunch of friend that generously helped me move all my stuff. We were all sore for a few days after that 😛 But organizing and unpacking is pretty fun! Or at least more fun than moving stuff around hihi.
Hiking sounds awesome! How are the trails there? A friend and I were thinking of making a trip to a Scandinavian country (hopefully) in the near future. It looks beautiful, and what can I say, were a fan of Nordic countries 😉 Most of my friends want to just go to Cuba or the Republic, but on my end I'd rather go somewhere a bit more cultural (not that Cuba isn't cultural, but the resorts sure aren't lol).
Aside from that, I'm just working a lot, so who knows when I'll have time off to do all the fun stuff that I want to do, like travel!
I'm lucky cause I've got an entire month to move so I can take it in turns 🙂 Might make it easier on the dogs to.
I haven't been hiking where we're going now but something like this http://static.se.groupon-content.net/38/11/1336984991138.jpg and http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vCGUtEb3CLQ/TdV9zF-EDqI/AAAAAAAAAJ8/R4dhWWrvj9g/s1600/Sylarna_1.jpg (sunny if we're lucky with the weather) 😉 Green and rocky. It's beautiful.
I'll be working a little during my vacation (just paperwork that needs to be done because others don't stop working just cause I do 😉). What do you do?
