I did my first erg half marathon today. It was pretty fun. I mean, yeah, my time sucks but other than that, I'm happy - no stops, no surprises, no pains or anything. Feels good.

I kinda want to start a meet up group in my area, as there isn't any, but not sure what it would entail and whether there would be enough interest for one

Is there anyone you could ask about how to do it? And maybe send out some feelers to see if there's interest? 🙂

I'm kind of a fan. I really liked the first season of Homeland but couldn't get through the second one. So I'm a half-fan 😛

So, like, about America's history as a (according to some people) Christian Nation, and the separation of church and state and stuff like that? Is that about right? Do you like working on it? Sounds exhausting 😀

I'm right in the middle of season 2, too. I'm on my second run-through though. It blew my mind the first time but I think it's lost something in the re-watching.

Lol, it is really exhausting. It's basically about how "old world" religions (mainly Protestant denominations and sectarian formations but with some focus on Catholics as well) transferred and transformed in an entirely new religious climate, the "new world", and it's all expressed in economic market terms, like who had the best market penetration and why. 🙂

It's very interesting but yes, quite exhausting, also cause it's history you have to be soooo specific with references which is a pain. But I have enjoyed the class a lot... now I'm just nervous about whether or not I'll pass it 🙂

What's different the second time? I could imagine that much of the suspense is gone, because you know what's gonna happen.

Yep, sounds pretty complicated. I think religion is an interesting subject, but I don't know if I'd take a college course 😀 I sucked at religion class.

Season 3 is definitely well worth buying, and you'll want to when you see the Season 2 finale.

Yeah, I think it's just the lack of suspense. The first time through I was never sure what Brody was up to and it seemed to swing back and forth between him being a terrorist ad not being a terrorist, but the second time through it felt more obvious, partly because I knew the outcome but also there seemed to be less twists in the plot. I think the first time through you are trying to work out where he stands so every little clue to his motives is a big thing but the second time they don't seem as big.

Just seen Much Ado with @nightshade... awesomeness with Pringles (naturally) and coffee (obviously) lol... Went out earlier for Sunday roast which was yum especially the pudding...

We did not buy it (I don't know why!!) but they sold "cookie dough pizza's" ... oooo (A giant, square, squidgy chocolate chip cookie, layered with chocolate brownie chunks, marshmallows, white & dark chocolate and popping candy.)

Too true, however I fear everyone here will be shocked we did not... lol... I mean cookie dough pizza!!!

You do get a bit of that, but not as much as I thought, strangely (or maybe you do and I just wasn't paying enough attention!).

Alright, back in action. The husband and I took our boys camping with his sister and her boyfriend on Friday and stayed until Sunday afternoon. It was fun but pretty wild. I'm not much of a fan of tent camping to begin with, then the first night there was a pretty big storm (luckily the boys slept right through it, but we were awake through the whole thing) and on the second night my oldest woke up a little after 1:00 AM and ralphed all over himself and the sleeping bag. And his brother's blankie. Big mess and I had to clean everything in the dark, plus rinse stuff out in the lake when the temps were in the high 40*F. I had to make a fire after that to warm up! So, I was pretty much exhausted by the time we got home and now I have a head cold.

And we're going back in two weeks!
