In Russia they really make a big deal out of it. ThaT's why it's also pretty big in my family, with my Mom being from Russia and my dad having lived there for a few years 🙂

And it's really cool, I didn't know that befor (my Mom told me today), but apparently, when a national holiday (which women's day is in Russia) hits the weekend, the following Monday will be where everyone gets off work. That rules! We should have that here as well!

ohh, and to Spoons: It's more about men appreciating women 😉 on this day (at least in Russia) they're the ones that cook and clean and stuff.
