We got severel threads for wishing a happy christmas/holiday but none for the new year? Hmmm. So here goes.

Ok, I think that´s enough smileys.

So what do you all have planned for today? Ok, The day is nearly over in Australia and New Zealand but you can tell us tomorrow. Me? I´m being extremly pathetic. No money what so ever, they got spent earlier this month on more important things. 😉 And friends being in other places than here means a lonely night. Not that I´m much of a party person anyway but New Years eve is special. At least here it is. But I guess I´ll see some fireworks at least.

I guess soome of youu guys are already in 2009? Well I'm still in 2008 and I'll try to take as much as I can out of it. Well at least I'll try to get as drunk as I can before midnight. I'm fearing loads of drunk people at my party and I don't want to be the guy to clean up, so I'll join in in being drunk. It's easier 8)



Oh btw: Happy NEW YEAR to those and those going to happy NEW YEARIANS and so on and so forth. Besst of Luck 🙂
 
I don't celebrate New Year much because of my birthday being close to it, but it's a huge deal here in Scotland. Hogmanay night is always special.

I was planning on going to a house party but i'm not well 🙁 I'm at work until 3pm then i'm legging it out of Edinburgh because they have already started closing streets down and putting up stages etc.

It is a great atmosphere and to be honest Scotland is the best place in the world to be for New Years. But when it is meant to reach -2 there is no way i'm hanging around on the a packed (and I mean packed) street.

I'm going to curl up in bed, have a few drinks for medicinal purposes and celebrate later when i'm healty.

I will go wild partying in Maastricht soons 😀 And then later we apparently meet at the bridge at 11:30 to later watch the fireworks...so I can already tell that tomorrow I'll have a total cold. But yeah, whatever, it's New Year's.

My plans were to go to a friends house, watch campy/cheesy horror movies and eat crap BUT the host got ill so now it is just me and a friend at my house...which wouldn't be so bad BUT we went out last night and got completely [expletive deleted] face so we're both knackered.

I'm just off out of the door to meet some friends and we're gonna go up to Embankment in London to see the pretty fireworks 🙂 Maybe have a drink or 4 at some point as well 🙂

You know, you could curl up in bed with Ruby and still celebrate.. as long as you dont post drunk!
 
This is the first year I haven't had plans in quite some time! I don't know what I'm going to do, but I think vegetating on the couch is a distinct possibility! Just getting over being sick, so I really don't feel like going anywhere, anyway.
