It's a fearless battle coping with the terms of Buffy's last season, hehe... but with the penultimate stage set, Joss setting his eyes firmly on Firefly and the cast looking to scramble their acting certificates and mirror-made expressions for greener pastures, how have you dealt with the tragedy, contempt and shallow minded thoughts you throw at the many reasons we won't be looking forward to an eighth instalment? Are you at all that bothered, have you wept like a little child with a sore tooth or have you maybe gone to the extremes and threatened your own life, no laughing matter, lol... oops. 😉

Ok, well as for me i have yet to see all of Season 6, actually it's more like 14 ep's, yeah that much! Anyway i'm still moving humbly around the notion of trying to figure out what's happening there, while all you somewhat post-haste viewers try to neglect me of my adherence in squandering the thought of the many spoiler sections burdened across the boards. As for S8 though and my constant need to ramble, it's really nothing i can't see being relieved with S7 being the best yet. As in High Fidelity, "Is it better to burn out than to fade away?" Auspiciously i could go on to say an 8th season whatever the conclusion would be a nice prospect in knowing there's still another year of something I think everyone here has become something of an aficionado of, but more than anything it's a shame. 🙁

Anyway enough bitterness, keeping things mellow (Well if you have the audacity), please share your thoughts and how you think your going to cope with Buffy ending"¦ I still think Angel has some life yet being as it's in its teenage stages now (irony if ever the spoiler)? Will it be Buffy-fests till your eyes feel propelled enough to jump out their sockets and head for the door or will you just move on to next television filler? For me I fear Buffy is my last breath at teenage life and that I'll be plunged into the peril, yet chivalrous wastelands of adulthood once next years fully over. Like most fans my age though, at least I hold a whimpering smile amidst the courtyards of conformity, at least I know there's still a few butt-monkeys that will always hold a place for Buffy"¦ no matter how many Willow the Vampire Slayer trilogies they bring out. Abide and delve as ever.

I don't think it's hit me yet - even though I've know for a while 7 will be the last. Maybe it's cause it's been on so long that I feel it's run its course, or maybe because I'm seeing the decline in quality this year.

But I'm sure come January I will be crying into my cornflakes at the prospect of no more Buffy 😉

Are you all serious that season 7 is the last. OMG how?, why? Buffy brings in big ratings. The show has had a new lease of life on UPN and i read it was like a new beginning and will go on for many more seasons

PLEASE tell me there will be more after season 7

I'm pretty much sad at the prospect of Season 7 being the last season of Buffy because it brings the question, what am I gonna watch now??? But, I think it is better to burn out than fade away, go out on a high and be remembered for being a show of great quality throwout *coughs*Riley*coughs*, instead of going downhill until being cancelled.
I'm happy to watch the ep over and over lol, so I just hope than Season 7 will be as great as the previous seasons, even if is isnt half as good it will be better than anything else on the tv i'm sure. Go out on top dont drag it on, thats what i'm basically trying to say in my strange adverse ways

NO NO NO Buffy has so much more left to do. I will not believe it, NO NO NO. WTF am i going to do without buffy, This show brought me through high school, at first being called a geek for liking the show to being really popular and people wanting to borrow old seasons to watch what they missed years before

im in denial and if they bring britney in to do sixs epi of the last that will just cheapen the show

I'm not sure how I'll feel when the series ends. I'll be upset I suppose because I wont have anything really to watch and its been in my life for so many years now. I'm sure that with Angel still going I'll be able to handle it alot better then if they were both gone. Those are the two shows that I really watch, anything else really I just watch to escape bordom.
I think it would be better to end Buffy at the end of season 7 though instead of just having it keep going until there is just nothing else to do and the show becomes pointless and annoying. The shows quality in my mind has dropped over the last couple years. After they left high school I haven't really been as attached to it as before. If they had ended the season at the end of season 3 I definatly would have had a problem with it.
Now with its slow decline I've gotten used to the idea.

I think it's best they end it on a high, rather then burn out. But I don't have a clue how I'm going to cope...probably the Buffy-fest way, lol. I can't imagine being this into anyother show, it's the first show I've ever been obssessed with, the first show I've taped constantly, etc. I actually cried when I read 7 would be the end🙁 It's hard to imagine life without having to make sure I've got enough tapes, rushing out to buy the latest TV guide, to see if they've reviwed the new Buffy...Ok, I'm gonna stop now, 'cos it's making me all sad and stuff just thinking about it, lol. *think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts*

its a good thing.they're running out of things to do with the characters.i'll cope 'cos angel's still going.there'll be other tv shows(not quite as good but....)and ending before it becomes really bad means my perception of the show won't be coloured different and it can forever have been my favourite show.

I agree with everyone else end it now and let people remember it as what it was a great show that many loved. Instead of letting it slowly meander on for another several seasons with no quality on the show and no viewers. It deserves that much. On the question of what will I do without Buffy I'll go for the Buffy/ Angel fests and just pray firefly is as good as Joss other television efferts and no a failure like Buffy the movie.

It might be the end of the show but maybe not for slayers and vampires. I will be ok if when the show goes there is a dawn spin off or somthing. With giles Angel and another Buffy spinoff that would be just fie but i can't live without buffy.
And a Dawn spinoff would be cool. Did you see how she fighted in the season final.

Joss has always implied that it would be 2 seasons. Plus SMG's contract will be up then.
