Hated Phrases

Every year it seems that new phrases find their way into peoples' lexicon. Some are tolerable, some are hated. The current phrase that everyone is saying that I hate is:
Yeah no.

Why does everyone say this?

Ex: Did you like the movie?
Yeah no, I really didn't.

Ex: Is your steak good?
Yeah no, it's garbage.​

I can understand ya, as in you, but yeah is not ya. Yeah is an affirmative followed up by a negative. Yeah = yes. Yeah IS yes. So I don't get why and how yeah, no, became a thing. As more people say it, I've found that MORE people say it. So stop saying it already because it hurts my ears.

At the end of the day, to be honest with you, yeah, no, they are my hated phrases and they are usually used a lot together in one sentence. Spoken and written.

Ouin= yeah.
It's not the proper way to write it, but it's closer to the expression you said 😛

'shoulder to shoulder' is something I've been hearing a lot lately and its beginning to grate.
'boots on the ground' as well.

'going/looking forward' just say 'in the future'.

most things said on the UK version of The Apprentice.

A really old one that I dislike:
'The road to hell is paved with good intentions.' Right, so where do the bad intentions lead? I'm guessing, uh, Hell? So should we go through life with neutral intentions only then? 'I don't really care about the outcome of this, my intent is utterly unbias. So therefore I'll go to heaven.'

" _______ hair, don't care"

Look, it was a popular phrase back in the 60's with the hippies, but today it's popular because of a Lil Wayne song. And he isn't refering to hair on ones head. It drives me nuts to hear people use a bastardization of a song lyric about pubic hair when talking about the hair on their head!
