Every year it seems that new phrases find their way into peoples' lexicon. Some are tolerable, some are hated. The current phrase that everyone is saying that I hate is:
Yeah no.
Why does everyone say this?
I can understand ya, as in you, but yeah is not ya. Yeah is an affirmative followed up by a negative. Yeah = yes. Yeah IS yes. So I don't get why and how yeah, no, became a thing. As more people say it, I've found that MORE people say it. So stop saying it already because it hurts my ears.
