Have you ever been hit by anyone?

old master: very well said!! i agree with that.. so many amazing people on the BB!!

KD: true!! true! (to the last part)

Akasha, honey... it makes me sooo sad everytime I hear what you went through but I'm sooo glad that you have found a good guy at last. Because it's early days you know to be careful not to trust too much but I'm glad that you feel that you can trust someone again. That does take a lot. Like I've said before, I admire you because you and I are so alike. But to go through what I've been through and then more... You are so much stronger than I am. *hugs* I hope that everything works out for you. 🙂

OM: I know what it's like to be subjected to bullying... and I'm sorry. It's definately up there with the unpleasant. But you have grown to be a strong guy... and as a result, a good, caring, and intelligent guy. Noone should have to put up with that but it's always a good sign when it makes you a better person. I am always happy to read what you have to say. Also, thankyou for your kind words. It means a lot that people think that we are strong. And I think I speak for everyone when I say it makes us feel stronger. 🙂 *hugs*

Please show me a guy like this and I'll marry him rightaway..After all seldom do you meet such ideal people...

ana: I'll echo what Jacklyn said: the good guys are out there, you just gotta be patient. But...you gotta give 'em a chance so you can get to know them. I'm not saying that you do this, so don't misunderstand me... When I was a single, I did date others before Mrs. D. When I got the feeling that the girl was just waiting for me to make a mistake so she could yell at/dump me, it was a real incentive to either 1) give her what she wanted (that is, do something deliberate so she could vent and get out of my life) or 2) leave. I know you are a relatively young lady, so I understand why you might be down on guys, but we do become more "civilized" as we age. Elmo and Jenny will attest to the fact that, despite past experiences, it is possible to find and land the right kind of man. Be patient, look for the good in the guys you meet, while being aware of the potential for badness. Don't treat 'em as if they were already bad...again, I'm not saying you do this at all, but being cognizant of any pre-concieved ideas you might have may go a long way to letting you relax and get to know the "man inside the boy". That being said, the minute any guy does something out of line (hit, abuse, molest, etc), I recommend deep sixing him and never letting him anywhere near you ever again! And it won't be your fault in any way if they do a bad thing!

Aw honey dont be sad..everything that happened to me has made me who i am today and i wouldnt change that for the world..i have never been happier! obviously i would be happier if these things hadn't happened! but hey thats life..it has made me a lot stronger and i feel that i can face anything life has to throw at me! it doesn't mean that im stronger than anyone on here, we are all strong for having to deal with the things we go through...everything happens for a reason sometimes it sucks big time..but the hardest thing to do in this world, is to live in it..lol see what i did there.
We are the winners here..the people who hit and abuse are the losers!!

Wow..Whever I read your post Akasha,or elmo's or Jacklyn's I'm sooo amazed how strong you 3 are...You rock girls🙂
