I was wondering something,..Buffy lived in Sunnydale and that's why the bad boys couldn't open the hellmouth,she was there and she stoped them..but there was another hellmouth, in Claveland,...why didn't the vamps(demons,bad people,...the villians) try to destroy the world by opening the hellmouth in Claveland?,there was no slayer to stop them
 
Well, maybe, um... I dunno. You needed the knife thingy to open the seal right? So, maybe none of the other demons had the knife and couldn't open it. Or, no one else could open the seal except the First. i dunno. maybe people tried to open up the one in Cleveland, but we never heard about it because they were stopped.
 
Maybe there was no Joss to tell the story😉 seriously tho it'd be quite stupid to have a show dealing with 2 hellmouths...
 
I'm not saying they should have shown it onscreen but they should have mentionated the other hellmouh before,not in the last ep of the show
 
Yeah. Instead of saying THE Hellmouth, the could have said A Hellmouth. I don't think it was of much importance really, but if they had a eighth season I think they would have discussed it a bit more.

Another good guy? Not all good people in the world lived in Sunnydale. Maybe there was a power witch, or potential Slayers, or Watchers Council people that could have stopped them. I dunno.

I don't think it would complicate the situation that much, I don't think they'd actually go there or something, but who knows.
 
Well there are more then 1 hellmouth all around the world.

I think that more demons gravatated toward SunnyDales hellmouth more because its a smaller town and the energy probably emits more strongly there.
 
I think there are probably more then two hellmouths and those are probably guarded by other, who's stories we've never heard.
 
In "The Wish", Buffy was in Cleveland when alternate-Giles tried to call the Watchers' Council, and I think they did mention the Cleveland Hellmouth in another ep...does anyone remember that?

There's gotta be multiple Hellmouths...how else do you explain Toronto (Nerd4Hire will laugh at that...)

It's Cleveland. Have you ever been to Cleveland? Evil would rather twiddle its collective thumbs than go to Cleveland. Trust me on this. And the check really is in the mail.

I was reading The Monster Book (published in 2000) and I read an interview with Joss where he said that there are more Hellmouths around the world.
