How do Vampires shave and style their hair so well?

Both of them ended up with shorter hair from flashbacks But Dru waited longer. Darla's hair got shorter between pilots, too. Started an LJ rewatch so I watched both a few days ago.
 
Their hair shouldn't grow but obviously it does when it suits the writers. Maybe they're basing it on the myth that hair (and nails) grow after you die. In reality it's the skin that gets tighter giving the impression that the hair has grown longer.
 
Clearly their sire is the one that teaches them how to look good and groom themselves.
If Angel and Spike picked a look that suited them then no doubt - just like any couple that's been together for any length of time- that it was their women behind them putting all the effort in. 🙂
