How do you react when you meet a celebrity ?

I go on with my business, unless it's someone whose work I really like.

Celebrities are people too and sometimes we forget that.
My goal in life with the board OMWP Instagram is to get someone Buffyverse to follow me. I'm
following all the big hitters (Sarah, David, Alyson, James etc) but I think someone like Amber or Clare is more likely.
I won't be surprised if Amber or Clare would start following the OMWP Instagram, they seem to interact with fans more than the big hitters.

I should tweet, "My friend Blair has a crush on you and wondered if you were a good kisser."

I won't unless you approve of this first. I bet she'd answer. 😉 Want me to find out? Because you know I'll do it. Just give me the word.
I bet ABK has met lots of celebrities out there in the 'City of Angels'...er is it really 'under the bridge'. 😉

I've not met that many famous people. Mostly people in the music industry, or just enjoying the perks that come along with knowing people in the industry.

I've met quite a few famous stars of my own country, as I know someone who grew up with with a guy who's on tv now, and met others in the TV industry through him. Glasgow is very easy to bump into stars though. They film a lot of terrible Hollywood movies there now. Its architecture and wide roads doubles well for a US city in the midst of destruction. Hah!

I did see James Marsters at a con last year but you're just getting herded about at a con so it feels quite unreal.

I just found out a guy I teased the hell out of in yr 9 social studies is on TV again, in Love Child and other aussie dramas. He started singing on popstars, his bad pants got him voted off lol. Daniel Hamill. I used his initials for other names for him 😛 he is a nice bloke, it was just banter. That school was an arts scholarship school so a few went on to be local celebs. No one huge... Yet...

I know a heap of aussie olympians just cos my dad is one (they have special clubs and guest lists), and many of them went onto coaching, commentating and had olympic level children, who we cheered on at Sydney 2000. I never got intimidated around them, but I also stopped going to the events when I got large.

I did get nervous in my horseriding lessons, I had a few olympic equestrians as my coaches, one even went to my pony club! Shes a friend on facebook now, as are a couple paraolympians that I trained with. It feels a bit unreal to see how far they have got! And kinda hoping to get lessons from them again one day. And that 2 more of my paraolympic friends will get there.

No one world scale famous but locally well known which can be pretty cool too.

She also seems to be noticing the banter. She liked my tweet too 😛

Darling! I just saw it! She's obviously following the conversation. 😀 I want her to answer the "kiss" question. This is becoming super interesting. I'd hazard a guess that she's not completely straight...and you ARE a cutie pie, after all. Look sharp, Blair! Amber is watching you. 😱

I'm wondering if she's going to reply too haha. And yes, hopefully she might answer the kiss question 😛

And why thankyou! I'm damn adorable and don't you forget it 😉

She's obviously a good sport...and just a sweet person in general. (Unlike Charisma, who's completely in love with herself)

You know I'm not one for fake flattery...if I say you're a cutie, you ARE. 😛

"#ProjectAmber" I love it!!!
I almost forgot - @OccaQuokka mentioned Olympians and when I lived in Oakville (about 15 km southwest of here), there was one little boy who used to run around the townhouse complex all day and never got tired. Fast forward to 2004 when Adam van Koeverden had grown up to win Olympic gold in kayaking. We knew his mother, Beata, quite well. Beata had one interesting story from when she lived in the Canadian Arctic. There were a lot of sled dogs where she lived and they all shed huge quantities of fur. She gathered the fur, spun it into thread and knitted it into a sweater. But she couldn't wear it there - every time she walked down the street, she would be jumped by a dog who wanted to make it with the big two-legged dog who smelled like she had just pulled a sled a hundred miles.

I've met four people who I would consider celebrities, 1 actor, 2 authors, and 1 singer, and I like to think that I handled at least 3 of the situations well. (When I met the singer, it was in Hawaii, and I wasn't quite drunk)

And yes, hopefully she might answer the kiss question

She's dodging it. I tried using a hypothetical situation (with Joan of Arc, no less) but she liked another post of yours instead of answering the question. Ah well, I tried. 😛

Well, at least she knows who you are now; which is pretty awesome in itself! 😀
I put a lot of thought into that Joan of Arc scenerio, but she sidestepped it. 😛 I never ask anyone more than twice, so #ProjectAmberKiss is officially over.
But my God, it was fun!

Haha! Absolutely fun while it lasted.
Hopefully Amber returns to Australia soon and I can meet her for real 😀

You know you said you were looking for a wife..... 😉😉

(Just to be clear, I mean Amber. I'm already married, sorry! 😛)

Blaze
Blaze
lol!
This is true! But I did assume that Amber was straight 😛 (Maybe she can whisk me away to America or some other country that has marriage equality though 😉 )

Get her to meet you halfway & you can both settle in the UK. She could do a lot more of the UK shows then. (Or maybe even become a Dr Who assistant if she wants to do more TV work? 😉 )

She seemed to be enjoying her visit when I saw her here.... 🙂
