How I Met Your Mother season 7 (spoilers if you're not watching on US schedule)

Isn't there a scene from a college reunion in the future where Ted, Lily and Marshall "eat a sandwich" and Ted asks, "Where is my wife?"
Oh, wait, I just though about it and Robin isn't in that scene... so is she his wife? Damn, that stuff is so complicated.

Anyway, could still be that he ends up with Robin, you're right.

Probably not. But, hey, it's at least a small possibility, right?

I'm very glad they didn't go through with the pregnant storyline. The emotions behind Robin not being able to have kids are much more interesting, I'm breathing a sigh of relief. Truly not a Barney/Robin shipper though I did feel Ted/Robin shipper feelings towards the end...which is funny because I've only seen season 6 and 7 of this show and don't know why I'm feeling this way. But he is so sweet.

Yeah, Ted was sweet. He needs more screen time, imo. I hope they don't rehash Ted/Robin. I really like their friendship.

What I don't get is why they had all that angst about Robin pining after Barney, then Barney realising he wants to be with Robin, only to have them go back to being just friends (with benefits 😀). I'm not saying I want them together right now, but I just think they could have had the 'Robin can't have kids' episode without the angsty B/R build-up that led nowhere. Oh well. C'est la vie.

I do think that 7.12 was very well done, and thinking about it im kinda glad Robin wasn't pregnant. I thought they'd go for a miscarriage storyline, to be honest. Anyway, even though I never pictured Robin with kids, it's sad that she can't physically have them. It would suck not having the choice. I felt depressed and emotionally drained after that episode, so bravo writers and actors.
