How long before a reunion becomes impossible

I wouldn't want to see a reunion show unless it had the original actors, and like some people have said already, that would be unrealistic for characters like Spike and Angel. They'd have to come up with some lame explanation for why Spike especially has aged, since James Marsters is noticeably older (but still darn hot IMO!).
