How Long Is Your Hair?

When i straighten my hair I cant really see the short bits on top at all. But when its rainy, the short bits go curly 🤣 🤣 its a bit like an early 80's do, curls on top, length underneath.

Still loving the bonnet but the band seems to have got tighter the more i wash it, even though I wash it in cold water. Havent figured out why yet, maybe cheap elastic? Maybe my head got fatter.
I can alter it if need be, but maybe next time I buy one I will search for something giant. It is a bit hard to stuff all of my hair into it.
 
Quite short right now. I usually get it cut at this time of year so it can grow out as it gets colder and provide all the insulation I need. I usually let it grow until it gets the Einstein look. Unfortunately, it doesn't bring Einstein brain power with it.
 
Had a bit of a miscommunication with my stylist today. Was rockin' kind of season 3 Willow hair.
Was going for more of a season 4 style, but apparently they thought I meant way shorter. 😳

Miscommunication is an understatement!
 
I wear my hair short! For the style I have now, one of the pictures I showed my barber was Neil Perry (played by Robert Sean Leonard) from the movie Dead Poets Society. Shortish on the sides, longish on top, & a slightly off-center part with bangs that curl up just above my eyebrows. I often go a little too long before getting a hair cut though, so my bangs get in my eyes.
 
I have always had long hair it can grow extremely long. I would like to try out a short hairstyle but if I don't suit it I wont be able to turn back and have to wait until it grows out again.
 
Yeah lol I modeled it after Olivia's S11 hairstyle 🙂
My hair seems to naturally curl up at the ends with this style and it makes it look thicker than it is, ehehe

Can always compromise and go for medium length. Going very short after having long hair can be a bit much to accept.

But if you are keen on doing so, take some hair inspiration styles to your hairdresser and ask if they'd suit you.
 
I took about 6 inches off my hair the other week. My scalp was getting sore with the weight of it! It was all blonde at the ends, reminents of my summer of swimming. I have chopped that all off now so its all brown with a few greys. Feels much healthier and MUCH lighter.

Still loving the bonnet!! Best invention ever. I duno how I ever slept without one. Makes life easier when im not waking up in a tangle of hair!

I straightened it the other day too and that makes it easier as well. It does have a lot of bounce to it, but dead straight is much easier to manage.
 
Too long in this heat! Still roughly waist length but with added greys
 
My hair is pretty long these days. It falls to the middle of my back and often gets caught between my back and my chair.
 
my hair is a bit past my shoulders. easier to maintain. i cut off quite a few inches and i like it this way.
