How Old Was Everyone?

I've always wondered how old everyone in Team Angel was. Here's what I came up with.

Angel- 246 year old vampire right?

Cordelia- She was fresh out of high school when she joined Angel so her age is pretty obvious.

Fred- Didn't she leave for college five years before they found her? That would make her older than Cordelia because Fred disappeared during BtVS season 1.

Gunn- Was he a teenager when Angel and company first found him in War Zone? Because everyone in AI referred to the gang as kids.

Connor- First he's 16 and three months later he's 18. Maybe everyone wrongfully assumed hims age.

Doyle- He had to be in his mid to late twenties. He was a school teacher and everything.

Wesley- I would say he was probably in his mid twenties. Wouldn't you have to finish college to be a watcher?

What does everybody think?

Actually, Connor probably aged 2 years in 3 months or less so that he and acordy bumping bellies while he was jail bait. Same reason Dawn never had a serious relationship on the series. Buffy and Willow? oops!
I thought Wesley was def in his 30s, but thats just me.

Doyle i would agree with the late 20s thing.

I just wonder about Gunn... i is he younger than cordy? or older? i think im confused there.
 
I thought Wes was either in his 30s or 40s! Connor still confuses me though....lol
 
I always thought Wes was in his early 30's as for Gunn I think when we first saw him he was like 19 or 20?
 
in 'Double or Nothing' we find out that Gunn sold his soul for the war wagon when he was seventeen, which was seven years ago, apparently. so, by S3 he was at least 24.

did Fred leave for College in LA, or grad school or something? *confused*

Cordy, obvious.

Wesley, i always thought he was in his early 30's in BTVS.

Coonor, 18. i agree with everyone else, his age was up'ed because of the Cordy issue.
 
Gunn didn't seem like 19 or 20 .. he seemed more like 25-30. Atleast that's what i thought, i didn't really think about that when I was watching ^_^
 
About Wesley, what college ? a tehnical college ? What age was did he leave school, did he go to a university before he went to the watchers academy ?
The UK educational system was different to the one in USA in those days.
 
If Wesley went to school until 16, college until 18, and university until 21 (depending on his course) and then went to the Watchers Academy I'd say he'd be between 25 and 30 when he became Buffy's watcher...

Don't take my word for it though! 😛

Sounds right, maybe 😀 I def thinks he's between 25-30 when we first see him. Definitely over 30 when Angel ends. Right?
 
I always thought Wes was pretty firmly in his 30s. I thought he was pushing 40 when he died, actually. I thought that because I didn't think they just assigned any green kid fresh out of college and the Watcher's Academy into watching a slayer. I figured he had to have a lot of education and a lot of stellar scholarly work behind him before they'd even consider him for fieldwork. At the same time, he didn't seem quite as old or as experienced as Giles. All in all, then, I just assumed he was in his 30s to Giles' 40s (although I think Giles passed 50 before the show ended).

Gunn, I placed in his mid-twenties. Fred, I put her in her late 20s. She seemed to be near achieving a doctorate degree before she got sucked into hell for 5 years, so I might even place her in her early 30s. Cordy was definitely the baby of the group.

Connor's age was always confusing, but I agree with those who say he was aged so as not to turn Cordy into a perv.
 
Gunn was 17 when he sold his soul for his car, and he was 24 when he told Fred about that story, which was in S3. So in After the Fall, he's 27. He was turned the same age Liam (Angel) was turned. 🙂

Liam was 26 when he was turned.
 
It's really weird to think Cordelia was only 19 or so at the beginning of "Angel". She definitely looked mature. 😉 But how old was Charisma? 26? 30?

Charisma was 26 when she was playing a sixteen year old on BtVS season 1. So when Angel came along, she was like 30 years old. She's even older than David Boreanaz I think.
 
GEEZ!

I guess that's no worse that 25 year olds playing 16 year olds on various WB dramas like One Tree Hill and the like.

But I think they should at least have made an effort to make her appear younger...I mean, she was hot - really, REALLY hot - but did not look like 19. Or even 21.
