I'm unclear: does it work because the scent combined with incense helps you sleep, or because it is keeping ghosts out of the room? Sleep is precious, so whatever works for you is great! Though I would like some ghosts of relatives to come and visit me.If you are looking for something to help you sleep, maybe it isn't your metabolism that is causing the problem.
My girlfriend keeps a supply of cascarilla (pronounced cas ca ree uh) whose purpose is to prevent ghosts from entering the room. It works! I went from tossing and turning and being unable to sleep to being able to get into a deep sleep with it. It is supplied looking like sidewalk chalk and each piece is in a 1 inch diameter paper cup of the type used for ketchup in some fast food places and it is supplied with the top of the cascarilla level with the top of the cup. It is made from egg shells but neither of us know how it is made. You crumble pieces of it in your hand and blow it onto the surface you want protected. One cup supplies enough to keep a room clear many times. When combined with incense, it provides a restful sleep. She got her supply for $40 from a couple in the Bronx many years ago and the amount was about the volume of two bags of sugar. It may not be expensive, but it is a 14-hour drive from Toronto the the Bronx and it was worth it.
@Anyanka Bunny Slayer I find that melatonin helps pretty well, just about 1.5 mg a night.
It's cos you are upside down, Google is for northern hemisphere peopleI keep googling why I feel so awesome when the air pressure drops. Those storms that just passed had category 2 cyclone conditions, and all I know is that I felt immense relief in my body, especially euphoric in the moments before the rain hit. Google keeps telling me that I am wrong, that rain brings migraine, but mine goes away when it rains and is terrible in blue skies. I cant get my head around it. I feel tons better when it is raining, and google keeps telling me noooo that cant be. So maybe its something else that the weather brings? I dont know but I wish I could figure it out!

@Ethan Reigns gave a good explanation. My only thought was that maybe you work better with more humidity in the air?I keep googling why I feel so awesome when the air pressure drops. Unfortunately my allergies have been acting up so I haven't been able to burn incense or candles for a while π₯²Actually, I've been burning incense for a couple of years. Nag Champa and Black Orchid are my absolute favourites. What kind do you like? π
