Very nice day today. Relatively I guess, since it is so rainy outside! But I love that weather and it is good background noise to have while reading.

I went to the town show. Big mistake. If I get covid I will be pissed! I didnt bring a mask cos its all outdoors, but the children were coughing their faces off. It was unbelievable! Its wet and raining and these people bring their, very obviously, sick children out to sell raffle tickets. I had the plan in mind to go and buy all the raffle tickets first up, because in the past, the winners have always been the first people to buy tickets. They dont tend to shuffle the hat very well.
Anyway, when SO many of the children were sick and coughing, snotting and wiping their face and hands all over everything, I just left. Not worth the risk for me to get sick from a rigged raffle. The wood for the two wood raffles was all wet by then anyway and I dont really need an electric wheelbarrow when I dont have stables to muck out anymore.

The giant pumpkins were impressive, but only two on show. The poor sheep were all wet and stinky ready for the sheep shit competition. I took Harmony up with me and she did really well. She was a bit timid and worried but just stuck near me and was easy to handle in the big crowds. Lilah got her walk earlier in the morning when they were still setting up and took some training to be able to walk past it all on a loose lead, but she did and I was pleased with her work ethic.

I wanted to get some food because its so rare to have takeaway type foods to choose from this close to home, but once again, its just not worth the risk for me. I am already chronically ill, I do not need more ill! I was just shocked how many people were coughing sick yet still out and about in a very vulnerable town population.

This day has started AWFUL, last night I & my folks entered our home without problems & slept tight.

Now today as one of my bros came at my apartment to spend the day with his 4 olds daughter here, impossible to open the door indoor & outdoor, we tried, both me & my siblings indoor & throw a double key to my older bro & his daughter by the window to try to open from outdoors. Impossible to enter or leave. We were stuck at the apartment. We don't have a janitor anymore.

We had to call a locksmith in urgency today on Sunday. It was hard to get to broken the locks. No keys was broken, it was the security system that snap & stuck the door. The same happened to a neighbour. The bill is high.

Oh my gosh! That sounds scary!
Day was decent. Early start cos I had a zoom meeting at 7am. Dogs got a lunchtime walk today!

First time this year that I've been able to have a shower hot enough to fog the mirror 😁 bliss!! My skin is all cracked from cool/cold showers and dry hot air over summer. Im loving this rainy weather, its just a delight!

I really hate losing an hour. I'm glad it's getting brighter but that lost hour makes my body feel off.

I wasn't awake to see it change and forgot about it until I saw it trending on twitter lol

After 50 years of trying to work it out , I just gave up. I had it nailed in my 20s but it's one of those things that just won't stick in my head . Gain an hour ? Lose an hour ? I just never know 😀 . Thank the gods for digital timekeeping . My phone and computer take care of that pesky business now 😉 .

"Spring forward, fall back." This works for me to keep it straight: in the spring, go forward an hour; in the fall, go back an hour. Good luck to you doing the time-change now. It's taken me two weeks to adjust.

This is how I remember it as well, despite us calling it autumn instead of fall.
I'm still adjusting in the mornings, but loving the lighter nights already

Day has been cruisey so far. My bible teacher cancelled cos she was a close contact with a positive covid case. Cant say I am surprised by that! But thankful she decided to stay away from me. I am trying to make a list for my city trip but not getting far!

Dogs had a nice walk. So many good sniffs for them on the oval after the show. I did some piano keyboard practice and tried to do some of my Dr Who colouring book, but Harmony took great offence to a book being in my lap instead of her and she has been a pest about it. Lilah is sitting nicely on her spot with a toy bird in her mouth. Her fave. So cute.

Duno what to do about lunch yet. I can hear the poison buggy out in the street so I better shut the windows!

Eh, had to go to the doctor and get blood taken, for the usual
blood screening/ tested guess what it's called.

Nice day for me. I like shopping around easter time, so many bunnies!!! I spent more than planned. But they had bunnies on them!! So I got some bunny pyjamas and a big pink fluffy bunny sleep hoody. I am so happy with them, especially as it is getting colder at night so it will be a good idea to start wearing clothes to bed.

Also got some slip on shoes, yarn and more dog toys than the dogs need.

I forgot that Wednesdays are the Aldi special buy days and it was swamped with old people buying wheelchairs. I had planned on getting subway for lunch but after aldi I was just done with standing in line and got maccas instead. Drive home was awesome. I love driving and its SO pretty. No tourists and no trucks. #bliss

Had a garbage start to the day because I didn't sleep very well (one bad dream after another) and as a result my mental health wasn't great. But, I had an extra long shower and decided to relax, ordered some Thai and had some wine and I feel much better now!

Thai and wine sounds like a great remedy!

I must confess , I'd probably avoid Electric Avenue during peak boogaloo hours .

I've had a weird day .I've inherited an 1/8th of a house and some money . Still not sure of the exact value but it sounds like maybe 30 grand+ all in at some stage ? Weird business . A random estranged family nobody knew existed up and died and left us all their stuff ... And I've been estranged from my own family for 20 years...And they've been estranged from each other . 😀 I think I saw that Netflix show ?

30K buys a lot of meatballs . That's a crazy amount of money to my finances , maybe not life changing ,bet I get slaughtered by the tax man . I'll lose some tax credit entitlements and other perks too so my failing business will fold overnight . But it's still a real boost for a year or three if it ever comes good . Not getting my hopes up just yet . I don't have the emotional skillset to cope with good fortune 😉 😛 .

I hope it works out well for you! I was in a situation like that myself once, I inherited a large amount from a great aunt I'd never met, it was a weird time for sure 😵

Today was pretty good! I slept better which is always welcome. I worked, had a nice coffee, found a surprise bit of Buffy merch… good stuff! I have a bit of a cold though which is annoying, I think I caught it over the weekend when I had a night out.

I have been cleaning. A friend told me a few weeks back that she might come down for the night if she has time this swing. She is the type who wont tell me if she is actually coming until she is at the door lol. And shes deathly allergic to most things. So I figured I should tidy up a bit. Plus Lilah has been a pest, picking up things she should not be eating (a paper towel and piece of hay already today!). I have been getting stuff straightened up between net breaks. The dogs claim my lap as soon as I sit down, the pace is really set by them.

The sunrise was red this morning. It doesnt feel like it will be storming, but there are heavy clouds around. I love this weather, I always feel so relaxed in it.
