@nightshade Be careful if you have sensitive skin. I find witch hazel irritates my skin. Try products with rose water in them instead.

Let me rephrase my advice: don't use witch hazel if you have squirrel genes. 🐿

that squirrel ain't wearing no pants though. should have posted a pitcher of one with genes on.
I sell a fabulous product that's all natural and does wonders for the skin. It's a restorative lotion and people swear by it.
It energizes your skin's health and luminosity, regenerates fragile, thinning and easily bruised skin. Reduces cellulite, spider veins and even stretch marks.
It's also incredible how well it repairs the skin. It soothes and hydrates and completely revitalizes the skin.

There literally is no other product like this on the market. And unlike other lotions that only treats the epidermis, this product actually penetrates deep into the skin and delivers the nutrients at a cellular level. People have said that they have had skin conditions for years and nothing helped, not until they started using this product.

I also have one for diabetics that helps reduce neuropathy and many diabetic skin conditions. If you know, you're into that sorta thing.

I got my bag of Taco Bell...a HUGE plate of nachos with guacamole and sour cream. Also two pieces of barbecue chicken. I'M SO HAPPY!!!!! Its amazing. πŸ₯³

Also watching Tne Wishing Well (SPN). Oh, that teddy bear!!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Well Covid has officially hit my store. Guy tested positive. He and couple other co-workers been quarantined for a few weeks. Guess they worked in close proximity for half a day. Also another girl has refused to come in last several days. Not too surprisingly the same guy at first wouldn't wear a mask, or gloves and later wore one mostly improperly. Ironically the lady refusing to come in was also a late comer to wearing proper protection. πŸ™„

Priceless

Keep safe. Have you been tested?
Started a fanfic and the writer said she'd based it on the tv show 'Keen Eddie', which I'd never heard of, so I went down a rabbit hole and discovered a terrible tv show from 2003 about an American cop in London. Anyone seen it? Strange the things that inspire.

Now that was something . Inspired comes from the strangers things it seems .

The new boss was calling people into her office to chat. Several came back looking a bit...upset. Not me! The first thing she said after I sat down was, "I've been watching how you interact with the customers, and I'm really impressed. You make them laugh, and you keep eye contact. Keep it up!" She also shared with me that a couple of my coworkers needed to work on their customer service skills. (Which I already knew!) πŸ˜‚

She asked if I could "help" a few of them by demonstrating how to engage with customers. I immediately pointed out that that wouldn't go over well with them, and would probably cause resentment. "However," I added, "If you were to promote me, they'd be more likely to listen." She gave me a big smile, and said, "Let me think about it." (Actually, I wasn't serious. It just popped into my head)

I know that I'm damn good with people (when I want to be). You really can't teach that....well, if I were promoted and got a raise, I'm sure I'd find a way. Good thing I stuck with this job until we got a GREAT boss. She's tough, and she doesn't play games. My coworkers won't be able to suck up to her and get special treatment like before...she's watching everyone and expects results. Thank you God!!!

When I came back downstairs, I wanted to stick my tongue out at everybody. I love how she scares the crap out of several coworkers. Its quite amusing. 😁

And you could have stuck your tongue out at them and they wouldn't see it behind the mask. And congratulations - here's hoping things improve for you.
I'm not sure if I have the temperament to "direct" people. 😈
And then when you don't really have the power to "correct" them. And then have to have patience for the people that are really friggin ignorant and cant seem to understand the basic english you are speaking and stare at you as if you're talking about quantum science when all you're doing to telling that to speak with a smile on their face. Much easier NOT to have to be in charge of people. It sucks when all day you want to strangle people but can't because you're supposed to be setting an example.

Things ARE a bit more stable now. 😁
Sunday I went canoeing with my older sister my brother-in-law my aunt my uncle and a few other people. The chosen course was 10 km. It takes hours to do it. I teamed up with my aunt on the canoe. For 2 hours she screamed because she accuses me of not paddling enough or with not enough force. I was really doing my best and having long legs I was really not comfortable in this canoe. Besides, I don't have the physique of a muscular guy so I shouldn't be expected to paddle very hard. Briefly, two hours after starting, my partner and I blocked the canoe on a slope with rocks. I go down to unlock it with my hand. The canoe is inevitably unstuck with my aunt on it. As I hadn't had time to go over it, I had a bad reaction which was to want to catch up the canoe. Result: I slipped, fell backwards, and my head hit a rock. Sacred shock. Suddenly I get up but I'm not well. I sit on the rock. I do not pass out but I have some vertigo. I put my hand behind my head, blood everywhere, I split my skull. My brother in law and a nice man help me to reach the earth and the people are calling The firefighters The firefighters arrive, they examine me, luckily for me the opening is not too large but it is still preferable that I go to an hospital, to the emergency room to do examinations but the injury is superficial according to them. My older sister reassured by the firefighters and not being able to come with me because covid -19 lets me go alone with the firefighters. It was the first time in my life that I got into a fire truck. We arrive at the hospital, I I was in a disgusting state, wet clothes and despite the heat I was very cold. I call my other sister to bring me some dry clothes. In the meantime a nurse examines me and tells me that it has already well healed but that I have to wait for the doctor's advice to know if it needs to staple or not. My sister arrives, she drops me a bag of clean clothes and leaves, barely saying a word to me, not even asking me how I'm going. I find that weird. I wait 3 hours until the doctor finally decides to come see me. He did to me an horrible haircut so that he can really see the scar. He decides not to staple. He disinfects the wound, puts ointment on me and it's okay I can go. I call my sister to come get me. She arrives, and during the drive to the apartment she yells at me. You see, according to her, it is not normal that she did not know that I was going to canoe with my other sister. Especially since she is going on vacation to the sea this week, she had offered me to come with her and I refused because I did not want to go to the sea. She accuses me of making preferences between my two sisters. So she scolds me and never asks me how I'm doing. I let the storm pass. I go up to the apartment, my father is there. All he wants to know is if I have his cap that he lent me for the occasion. I tell him that I don't have it and he won't see it agin because I had it on me when I fell and so it landed in the water and I don't know where it is. Obviously, he is right I could have recovered the cap in the water. Yeah of course !

What was supposed to be a good day turned into a bad day. In the end it was 20 € for the course, I only did 2 km out of 10 and I won a fractured skull, spending my afternoon in the emergency room and a lot of families problems. Great !

Are you feeling better now? Tell your sisters if they're not nice to you, you'll cut em out of your will :)
@Antho all of that really sucks but...
It was the first time in my life that I got into a fire truck.
come on man! That is cool. I would have been like "can I turn on the sirens" (i mean, if I didn't have a cracked and bleeding head... maybe that dampens the enjoyment of it but you still got to ride in a fire truck!) Fire truck is much cooler than a police car.

And years from now you can tell people about the time you rode in a fire truck. It'll make a great story once the pain, physical and mental, wears off.

Yeah that will be a a great anecdotes to tell to my children later. If I have children in my life

Never been in a fire truck, but have been in an ambulance before. Sort of surreal hearing the sirens while you're on the inside. 😡
