We had a great walkies today. Lilah first, as always. She found a sock on the highway, flattened by a few tonnes of trucks, but apparently the best fun ever. She carried it around for most of our walk, throwing it in the air and catching it again, killing it dead and chasing it. Harmony went out next for a solo sniffari on the oval. She loved it, tasted all the different grass and weeds and also found a (different) sock to carry.
We saw the cleaner on our walk. There was a snake in the shire toilets. The bin man asked if it was alive and then told her where all the long handle shire shovels are kept around town 😅
The birds are hilarious at this time of year. So many different varieties. All obese. They are all gutzing themselves on the spilled grain on the side of the roads. The other day my neighbour had to wait for them all to waddle out of the way before he could get his ute through. They are too fat to fly 🤣
