How was your day today?

Bobtail just scared the crap outta me on the patio! Took lilah out for loo and could hear something slithering under the air track. I scooped poor lilah up off the litter box and ran to the door, but then i saw it was a lizard phew!! So she did loo while woofing and then I chased it off the patio with a broom. I have seen this one hanging around for a few weeks now. It looks like a new one, much more blue/silver and not as big as my other residents, but a decent size. I think its still figuring out its territory. It was up on the step by the door the other day, I've seen it out the front and on the driveway, so I think it has been living under the house, which is ok with me! Just did a big spook of me!

Air con on now. Its 35 on the patio and I didnt water the garden today. Wasnt sposed to be hot today!

But, it is Friday today.
After chowing down on a massive, greasy meal last night, my tummy woke me up QUITE early. I won't elaborate further.

I can't get over how much JOY cable is giving me!!!! I'd forgotten how amazing it is. It's absolutely worth the money. I'm so happy. 🥰

We had a terrible night sleep. Harmony was whinging all night. I took her outside but she didnt need to do anything, she just wanted to play. I kept having dreams with her whining in them. The last one I had, someone had lured me outside of an old house I lived in, they put a microwave on the step so I unlocked the door to see who turned on a microwave on the front porch. I was holding Harmony and Lilah was behind me, barking. And then a man grabbed me from behind and I screamed. Usually in dreams I cant yell or scream, nothing comes out and its so distressing! But today I woke myself up yelling HELP! Haha. It was actually a relief for once to hear the noise of it, its far worse when the scream doesn't happen for me. Scared poor Lilah. We all got up after that.

Now the dogs are fast asleep and Im hoping my migraine doesnt blow out. Eating was a mistake today. Hopefully the littler terror sleeps tonight but shes out like a light right now. They didnt even want to wake up for lunch!

Today has felt really weird, the cool change was a relief but now its just making me dizzy. I cant believe its so late in the day!
 
It has been really good, actually. 🙂 Plenty of great stuff happened today, I ate good food, and my fav sports team is going to the Super Bowl. Very pleased with how today has turned out
 
Yesterday we were out in the yard quite a bit. Today I am wiped out and went back to bed til 11am! Its ok, cos its too hot to be outside anyway.

It was so nice to be outside so much yesterday, but harmony didnt cope with it well and my arms and face a very dark shade of brown lol. The bobtail was on the move again but I kept the dogs attention off it. 4 different types of birds on the wires above us, and more flying around! Its so nice to see so many different types, I rarely saw any even on the horse properties in the city. They are so playful and hilarious to watch. Its really nice around 6pm when they are all feeding all over the yard. The dogs are very entertained watching them, as am I.

Today is extremely hot. I went to pick some grapes and there were a bunch of new holland honey eaters already settled in under the nets, keeping cool for the day. Clever birdies, good choice, shade AND snacks! Even the bobtails are hiding from the sun.

I've closed up all the house and made a start on a new crochet project for a friend. I noticed she didnt have a hand towel in her kitchen so I am going to make her one of them to match her tiles. The dogs are being exceptionally well behaved. I may pay for this good and quiet time later!
 
It was a good upset for the Eagles. Everybody had figured it was the 49ers’ game. Then the Eagles just dunked on them lol

It's raining!!! And I found two packages of microwave butter popcorn in the cupboard. Score!!!! Thank God I have such a great sound bar (with built-in subwoofer) because it's like being in a movie theater when I watch stuff. I can stay inside, wrapped in my fluffy robe and feel like I'm in another world. ♥️

Real world = bad. Fantasy world = awesome.
 
The new staffy/bulldog in the street just attacked the wheels and boxes of my coles delivery driver. I was doing so good at keeping my dogs quiet and then their dog jumped on him as soon as he was out of my gate. Guess what its name is? Bruiser.

Pretty sure bruiser is the name of the chihuahua in Legally Blonde!

Went to work this morning, was just meant to open up, but it was over an hour before I left!
