We're experiencing a cold snap here as well. Even with two pairs of socks on, my feet currently feel like icicles.

My new pants are already falling down 🙁 Why oh why do they make pants with fake pockets and belt loops? Nonsense! Community relief shop doesn't open again until Monday. But at least by then everyone will be back at school and work so it might be quieter in there and I can have a good hunt for real pants. I wish there was an atm in town!

I need a to-do list to get stuff done while its still cool enough to function. Want to finish organising the wardrobe, making a rag pile instead of holding on to holey clothes, trim the rosemary bush and that native plant back, wash the couch covers and clean under and behind the couch, finish crocheting these handtowels (and start two more), finish off the crochet cap and sort out the bunny hay better. Mice are creeping around the house and the traps are set. I didnt want to poison this year cos I have these dogs now, but its really too much of a snake risk not to dump some under the house.
 
Bruiser is loose again, running up and down the road. Luckily in the opposite direction to the highway. I was considering giving them the puppy food my girls have aged out of, but since they cant even bother to keep it contained, I am not gona feed it! They have 4 -7 kids living there at different times so they are obviously rich enough. Bruiser was trying to tempt the pitbull next door to it to jump the fence and play. It didnt. That one likes to escape at 5pm when its owners are too drunk to notice it missing.

The people who deliver my wood have a German shepherd puppy, but that one was out this morning too. Lilah and I were walking up the trainline when I saw the huge dark beast up ahead. I just turned us around to cross the highway and saw the dog go back to their place, so now I know that area is a no go too. It got big!

There was a cat trap by the town hall today. Odd place to have it set. Lilah knew not to go near it, even with the open tin of cat food there. Really strange place to set it up. But it is hidden from the road, so maybe the ranger doesn't want my neighbour to know he's nabbing their cats. If the cats disappear they just think they've been hit by a truck. These cats are not gona be tempted by wet cat food, they've probably never had it in their life!

Not got far on my to do list ... I trimmed the plants back and finished the cap. The hay is the next priority

Starting Writing a Play unit in Creative Writing, should be fun. It does sound hard though.
 
Not the best of days lately. Sciatica returned, just about back normal then early morning yesterday and last night vertigo hit hard. Still not feeling how I want to feel I'm sorry for my complaining here.

I honestly can't believe we are already into the second month of the new year. Time is going by too fast, it's getting scary.

Yes, it is going by fast, but that's okay for the winter months by me. Feb is usually the month we get lots of snow but I'm hoping we don't get hit too badly.

Weather here today was sunny but cold, only up to 36f. In spite of the chilly temps, I had a good time at my woodcarvers class this afternoon.
 
Took me 40 minutes to do my taxes online Both Federal and State done, sent in, and accepted. Small refunds due (state within 2-3 weeks). This is definitely the earliest I've ever done this.

My stomach hurts and I have chills. Wrapped in robe with fuzzy house shoes on. Not at all hungry after all the pancakes I had earlier.

Ran some grapes down to my bible teacher about 30kms down the road after walkies. Saw some cute Clydesdale foals! The dogs were barely alone for an hour and Harmony is absolutely doing my head in now. I cant get anything done cos shes such a fidget, always under my feet and doing mischief. Can not sit still and shes a year old now so should not be so baby puppy brained as she is. Toilet training is going badly with her, perhaps just because she had never been in a house before I got her, or perhaps just because shes one of the least intelligent dogs I have ever met in my life. Its too hot for them to be playing outside, she just drank an entire bowl of water after a 3 minute loo break out there so I will have to watch her like a hawk for the next hour. Lilah is being a delight. Which means she will probably bark at the wind later tonight. Gotta get her mischief managed too.

It is and it's not, it's been a long year with this wrist, but yeah February already!

I think in a way the whole decade has gone by quickly, 2020 onwards has just been a blur.

The practical part was really fun, it should be even funner when my friend comes in again. I want to do more acting classes as a hobby to hopefully improve my confidence.
 
I think we had a little earth tremor. Do they still count as earth quakes? Maybe thats why Harmony was such a pain in the neck today. Now she has the hiccups and its just too cute to be mad at. Even if she is chewing on her comb.

Found 6 dog toys, one dog jumper, 2 bras, lots of yarn and a handful of receipts under the couch. No mouse.
 
Is it just me that feels like it's not okay to ask why someone wasnt in class the other day? It feels like its different and being nosy in the adult world.
