I'm wearing dungarees today, went to loo, one strap went in the loo, but I didn't realise until afterwards! Have washed it and now stood in front of heater trying to get it dry

And another two hours at hospital today, just to check I was not getting worse or anything. More prodding, more blood taken, but at least the doctor said there was nothing to worry about. Unless they ring me back after doing the bloods...

Yay?

Fingers crossed all is well!
Been a good day 🙂 I like active days! They are so much fun. Its just after 1pm and I am running out of steam now. Just 3 more loads of washing and unloading the dishwasher and then everything I set out to do is done.

Clipped the dogs paws today because I found 3 prickles in one, and gave the poodle a bit more of a hair cut. Its much more difficult now she has fat rolls!

Catching up on big brother and just finishing up a big grocery order for tomorrow. I am SO looking forward to a sausage sizzle 😀

And they did not ring me back. So, it looks like all is good and it will just get better naturally.

No news is good news :)
Yesterday I noticed a white paint mark on my truck's passenger door. Obviously the white SUV parked next to me had thrown open their door open and hit my truck. I knew which neighbour it was, so I rang their doorbell. I was super polite, until the woman got mouthy, saying her son's vehicle wasn't even parked next to mine. (Uh, yeah it was) Long story short, I got so angry that I decided to let it go and walked away. Two hours later, she left a note on my windshield saying she was sorry for being so rude. She knew damn well that her son had accidentally marked my truck, but yeah, sometimes you just have to let things go. I didn't SEE him do it, but we all knew he did. Ah, well.

Luckily, I discovered that nail polish remover removes paint on vehicles as well. (You just have to rinse the area afterwards so it doesn't screw up your paint job) Thank you Google!

But will nail polish put a mark on his car that can't be removed? Or maybe "accidentally" banging it with a hammer?
Pretty crap night with next door's son making banging sounds all night.... 😡
Started the day with a stonker of a headache. But, that's gone now and I'm waiting for my shopping delivery!

It has been some days I was questioning a thing.
Maybe, I am "crazy" (it would be surprising in my family 😂) but I was questioning which kind of tattoo I could do on my chest in order to cover/hide a scar I have because of a heart surgery I received when I was born.

I was born with a rare heart problem in which the two main arteries leaving it were reversed, and the entire functioning of my heart with also its blood circulation were reversed. I had a heart surgery, some days after being born, that switched the arteries, corrected my heart with the blood circulation in a normal way. This surgery give me a health heart; however, I have a scar on my chest that, now, it isn't too much visible, but I don't like it, never liked it.
I had the idea of doing a tattoo on my chest from many years, but I never did (lack of time, other trouble etc). Now, I'm still questioning of doing it, maybe next year.

The scar is generally composed of 2 scars with a sort of inverted cross shape, and since I don't want to do an inverted cross tattoo on my chest to cover it; I was questioning what kind of tattoo I can do, that isn't too big since I don't like it (also not colored tattoo).

It depends on what style of tattoos you like. If you find a good tattooist then they should be able to let you know what can be done xx

What about the Buffy "B". A few fans have that one and if positioned right, it should cover a scar. Good luck whatever you choose 🙂

Another good day here. I am so pleased with the garden right now. Looking great and all the fledgling birds are enjoying it as much as I am. P.S. Vacuums are a great invention!

Pretty much done with Christmas shopping!

I’ve been banned from buying bouncy balls (one little pack of 200+ bouncy balls and suddenly you’re out of control… pffft. The kids love them), so… this Christmas Santa will bring unicorn slime! Oh the glitter, all the glitter!

I have a suspicion that after unicorn slime bouncy balls will seem perfectly fine...
Had both flu & latest covid shots earlier today (per Dr recommendation). Now feels like Mike Tyson punched me in both shoulders!
Also my tummy's queasy, my muscles are sore & I've got the chills to boot! 🤕
Note to self: next time pharmacist says that I 'can just get them both out of the way' to just say NO! 😠

It's hoped that next year, it will be one combined shot!
Not so great today. The thunderstorms took out the power last night. It came back on, but the Internet cord is fried again. Its happened several times now, when the power goes out due to lightning, the NBN cord gets fried and I have to buy a new one. At least they are cheaper now! Last time it was $70 odd bucks, this time I looked them up and they are $43. So yay. It will still take a few weeks to get here. Im just glad I can afford phone data these days!

Tradesmen were in and around the house all day, so I was outside with the dogs most of the day. When the poodle tried to get up after a nap, she couldn't get up 🙁 Her back legs kept collapsing. I panicked straight away and wanted to run her to the vet, but mum said not to fret. about half an hour later it happened again, so I took her to the vet. I was not being talked out of it again! Vet couldn't find much wrong, and the adrenaline of the trip made her walk fine when we were there. We got some pain meds for her and I am glad she was checked, because she went back to moving badly when we got home. I've drugged her up now and will keep a close eye on her. The other dog is being supremely well behaved despite not having any attention. Hopefully the poodle feels better tomorrow, we have a few days of meds for her.

We had planned a trip to the coast tomorrow, but now it will be a snuggle poodle on the couch and watch Supernatural on tv day instead. Not all bad.

I have a break today, nothing to do, and also a day to break from my exercises. I spent a long time just looking out my window, slightly up, watching the rain pour down hard into big puddles, feeling so glad that I wasn't out in it.

My partner then said we need cheese. I said she had the chance to tell me twice when I asked the last two times I went to the store recently, and I wasn't even going to drive in the rain today. She relented (and may be plotting her revenge, but I don't care) while I kept staring at the rain outside, basking in that I'm INSIDE. (Just before getting online now.)

It's been a good day! I've been packing and getting ready to move soon, trying to get my bedroom boxed up.
