Hush. The Gentlemen were so creepy, and it just shows how talented the cast was that they were able to tell a fantastic story without using any dialogue.

Which one do you prefer? If you were going to a deserted island and could only bring one of them, which ep would you pick to watch for all eternity? 😉

I would choose Hush, it's one of my favourite episodes. But I'd probably end up having nightmares, and I'd be alone. 😱 I've actually had nightmares involving The Gentlemen before. 😛

must have been scary!
Definately Hush - it is such a clever episode, very chilling and terrifying. The Gentleman are the scariest things ive ever seen!!!

🙂

Hush is my favorite episode of the entire series (hence the name haha). Its both one of the funniest and one of the creepiest, but at the same time it also has a lot of elements that advance the story.

Hushall the way. I love this episode SO much. It's the introduction of Tara, Riley and Buffy find out that the've been lying to each other about who they are and what they do. I also love The Gentlemen and the story behind them. The fact that they are meant to be a fairytale was a fantastic idea. I also loved how most of the episode was done with out talking. The characters (and actors) had to rely on human contact to express how they felt and what they were trying to say. All around this is one of my favorite Buffy episodes.

What a difficult Question... I loved Hush because I get scared about it... But restless was more funier than hush and confusing. I don't even know what`s up with the CHEESE !! So I would Prefer Restless

Hush even though the gentlemen creeped me out, or maybe because they did and sill do. Yes, I'm weird that way, LoL.

Plus, I've never been able to really get 'into Restless

Where the hell do I begin with my "Restless" love? I am quite shocked by some of the "Restless" hate. "Hush" is a brilliant episode, even though it "failed me", but in any case, I don't see how people can hate "Restless". Some people have pointed out that it foreshadows season 5. It does more than that. It told the story of where the characters were, and where they're going. It actually foreshadowed the rest of the series, if you look closely. I could write a BIBLE length book about the virtues, the hidden symbolism, the psychology, and the insight of that episode, so I can't possibly explain my love in one post. It's THE reason why I love Buffy. Number uno. People say it's boring, or it's out of structure. Joss was never the guy to go to for structure. (The Zeppo anyone?) Giles summed up the most important thing to take out of not only the episode, but the series as well: "It's all about the journey, isn't it?" Buffy was never about super fantastic plot lines (although she does excel in that category too), but about these wonderful characters, and the journey we've taken with them. And "Restless" was a immense tribute to that fact.
