I think I might have aspergers

Some great advice already! But I agree with you, you don't have to see it as a disability, like you said, it is simply a validation of the way you feel. There's nothing wrong with having a brain that's a little different! Always around here if you wanna talk about it 🙂

That's exactly how I feel, my brain is just differrent
 
My son is an Aspie. Yeah, he's different. But that's about it. We've never seen it as a disability, having a name for the way his brain operates helped us understand him and address the things that were challenging to him, but it wasn't a sentence or anything.

Today's his 29th birthday. He is in grad school in the field of his choice and in a long term relationship. He's doing what he wants with his life.
 
Just got the verdict, I'm officially on the autistic spectrum, still awaiting the full report to inform me about the ins and outs. I'm very confused, I expected it, but still struggling to process...

Happy for you because you are finally getting answers 😀

Accepting that you have a disability (such as Autism in your case) isn't something that is easy to wrap your head around, it might be months before you get to the point where you are fully able to wrap your head around it.
Meanwhile, do escapist thing when possible (such as binge watching a TV show), it helps with things like this 🙂
