Idea/Theory.....help!

Well we have to Illyria to go by.
Yes the power within Illy/Fred was taken from her, but that was done by Wesley, who inturn was allowed to do it with the consent of Illyria, as we had seen she could have stopped them.

With Doyle, Aly, what you see as a failure could be seen as the 'right stuff'.
These beings that will want soldiers/Champions who are willing to give everything they have to the fight. Doyle sacrificed himself, in part, because it was the best thing for the fight itself.

If you were creating an army, who would you rather have on your team, a man who is willing to let others do what it takes and sit back, OR someone who shows themself willing to step up to the plate and do what is necessary for the greater good.

When you think of Doyles death, do you see a selfish man or do you see a man, a hero?

On a personal level, i've always wanted to write a fic where it became clear that the Senior Partners we're infact the good guys....hmmm, might do that someday, but i'd better finish Lockley first!!

of course i see him as a hero! lol. what i meant was, this 'being' whoever it turns out to be, may not see it that way. he/she/it is trying to make an army, and having one of his subjects sarcrifice himself to save someone they don't care about may seem like a failure in their eyes.

How about this for a concept? Angel meets God...and he's nuts. Joss Whedon plays God. 🙂
