If Buffy Ended With The Gift, Who Would Of Gone Over To Angel?

I think we would have needed to have a minor storyline focussed on the scoobies to truly be able to see any of them move over to Angel. A stand alone 4 parter with Spike, Dawn, Tara, Willow, Xander, Anya and Giles would have been a fantastic way to move some of them on to other projects and to give us a sense of finality.

I would have hated to just hear one or two references to the scoobie gang on AtS over 3 years if they had a main star transition over. Especially if it was one of the core or Dawn.

Willow could have transitioned over to Angel without the scoobies if Sunnydale was destroyed after Buffy left, and both Xander and Tara were killed, leading Anya and Willow to spiral into vengeance gals, eventually leading to one of the fang gang, possibly even Faith arriving to calm them down and bring them back to LA for rehabilitation.

Logically Xander would not join the fang gang by choice, but I'm sure that there would be a way to make his journey to LA, and integration to fang gang believable.

I agree. There needs to be a story behind a Scooby joining the Fang Gang. I prefer the character to be female -AtS is crowded with men. Willow would be a great choice because they don't have a witch and her personality is strong, she'll add a lot to Angel's team. Anya also would be a great addition.

Both Spike and Xander I can't see them joining Angel by choice -we saw in S5 how Spike was forced to stay there at first before he gradually stuck around by choice- the same can happen with Xander where he'll be forced to move to LA and reluctantly be part of Angel's team, after all Cordelia is there and they had a history together. It's not always about Angel.

I also can't see Spike taking Dawn away from Xander and Willow to LA -the Scoobies won't allow it, they love her as much as Spike does.

Unfortunately the only scenario I can see working is having all characters dead except one or two, or else no one would be moving to LA and leaving the others.

(If Dawn had gone over I would have had to shoot myself in the foot and curse my bad luck, so thank heavens no such thing happened.)

Could you have imagined all the whining then? Her and Connor together I would like them to meet and maybe couple but not this way especially since season 4 was on the way unless they would have changed everything. Yes thank you that didn't happen.
