If I hear Kate complain about losing her father

But there was so much more going on than just Kate blaming Angel.
When the show was first aired Kate was being set up as a 'special friend' for Angel. However there was such a large backlash on the 'net' that the writers (that includes Joss) had to back away from that scenario.
So, to get her character disliked, Kate had to be seen to blame Angel for her fathers death a bit more than she needed to.

So, to those who want to have a go at Kate, (and cast dispersions on her character) there was a reason why she was shown to behave as she did.

Huh, I'd never heard that before. It does make a bit of sense when you think about it though. I mean, I really liked Kate before her Dad died. I wonder why they would intentionally make her unlikable though? I mean, I guess if she wasn't connecting with the audience and they were looking for a way to write her out of the show, having Angel look sympathetic to the viewer at the same time would make sense.

I actually wanted to see them together as a couple at first,she def had feelings for him,but she annoyed me later in season with hating on Angel for being a vampire and shit.so yeah I forget about that idea.she was just annoying
