As with most of Dawns lines, this one annoyed me when I heard it.

I felt really sad, for Spike and for me. The Dawn/Spike relationship was one of my-if not my-favorite friendship of the series. I get that Dawn would react that way, but I'm so frustrated we didn't get any Dawn/Spike scenes after this one that I'm mostly unhappy about it.
