Okay, so I've watched up to and including Selfless, and I'm absolutely loving it! I love Buffy as a guidance counsellor, I love crazy Spike in the basement being haunted by the First, I love Willow struggling with her magic, I love Xander, I love Anya (I'm SO not looking forward to her death :cry3🙂, and I'm even liking Dawn because she's so far not annoying.

I've really loved every episode, especially Help and Selfless. Now I have to go and continue watching! :biggrin3:

Glad you are enjoying it I like you like season 7 🙂
Can't wait to hear what you think all the way through the finale.

The only thing I don't like about Spike's insanity, is how he's rambling one minute, and totally coherent (and even helpful) the very next minute. Like, how crazy is he supposed to be? He's cogent enough to crack jokes at Xander's expense. "I'm insane, what's his excuse?" That's not something a truly insane person/vamp would say, is it?

Overall though, great season. I think you'll enjoy it!

Oh, it only gets better as it progresses IMO, except of course with Anya's death. So sad 🙁 But, glad you're enjoying it so far 🙂

Glad to hear you're enjoying it (and I at least really really enjoyed crazy Spike. James Marsters does it so brilliantly) And Principle Wood, he was a nice addition.

I wasn't too particularly fond of season 7 but it's not on the bottom of my lists. Anya's death was the worst for me, I cried lol

As for Dawnie, yeah she's starting to show her potential and starts doing things that would surprise you. I really love Dawn in this season

I love the beginning of this season but as soon as the potentials come in it just kills it for me.

You're watching the best episodes of S7 -the first seven of them. Although if you're a Spuffy fan, I think you'll enjoy all of it. 🙂

Dawn, to me, is the best character in S7 -along with Anya- they're funny, they're adorable, they're improving. Xander and Willow disappointed me because they seemed to have lost their spirits and became lifeless shells of themselves. 🙁 I like Buffy and Spike -along with the Spuffy story - but the writers seemed to push them to be the coolest, awesomest, wisest characters on expense of the others, and that's why I lost the love.

Just finished First Date. Gotta say that Amanda (the potential from Sunnydale High? I can't remember if that's her name) really irritates me. So did Eve, so I'm not sad she died. I really enjoyed Showtime and The Killer In Me. I don't hate Kennedy, but I prefer Tara. I really like Andrew. And Anya of course.

Believe me, you're not alone hun - everyone hates the Potentials.

Me? I'm one of the fans in the minority who prefers the later seasons, so yeah, I love Season 7 - sans the Potentials, of course. Among other things, this season returns the show back to it's camp roots. Episodes like Storyteller and Him are just good fun - and there are some great character study eps like Selfless and Lies My Parents Told Me. And of course, Spuffy is at it's best in this season, arguably.

I'll join you in the minority though! I definitely prefer the later seasons :)
I wouldn't say everyone because I didn't/don't hate the potentials. Some of them are annoying like Amanda. I don't particularly care for her or that English chick who got killed after running but I do like Kennedy, quite a bit actually, Vi, and that very hungry English girl. So yeah, some of the potentials were annoying but some of them I liked.

I loved Showtime! Especially, like, the last minute or whatever:tongue3: And the Spuffyness in Touched :biggrin3: Still got End of Days and Chosen to go.

I never cared for any of the potentials but it didn't stop me from loving season 7. I've said it before but the intense focus on Spuffy was fascinating for me, "Sleeper" for instance was just brillant, first Buffy wondering about Spike, then accusing him and then Spike confessing. Great scenes all of them.
