Imagining BB members

What do the people who imagine the members based on their avatars make of a photo like mine, where it's just hands on fire? Am I being imagined as a ball shaped redhead with strangely hand-like facial features? How about @Hunga Munga? Pointy and slim? Do you substitute a generic face for us, or do we remain faceless?

When you vote for someone to win the Little Pumpkin Belly Award do you try to imagine a member who has a cute pumpkin belly? I have often(?) imagined Anyanka Bunny Slayer as a tallish slim person, is she fat enough to be the holder of a pumpkin belly?

I am curious Moggin, those flames in the avatar, if they were caused by sunlight has the rest of your body caught fire yet? I'm basing that on your being here since Nov 2020.
Not sure what or even how that happened to Spike since the day of the incident?

I think I split it between two things, the Avatar and the posting. The posting gives an insight as to what that person want to share about themselves and what they want to portray to the world. The Avatar shows what their personality traits could be like Illyrian has Darla, not the soft Darla but Vamp Darla... and Illyrian's name plus style of posting suggests to me he is a witty boomer (Older person as my daughter calls us!).. as far as looks go he must surely be a silver fox, quite tall and of medium build with a taste for the finer things in life and naturally (due to Avatar) has a wicked temper and maybe even vamps out sometimes!

Don't think anyone would get even close to what I actually look like 😀

Especially those who go by a persons avatar (A little clue - I look nothing like Eliza!).
I'd imagine that you look like Giles, but with more casual clothes, grayer hair and a bit more of a beer gut.

If someone changes their av I will sometimes still see them as the old one.

What about those of us who change all the time? 😛 (or used to)

I associate @Priceless so much with comics avatars that I think she is an actual cartoon 😛

I do usually think in terms of the avatar, but I've thought about this question and I've come to the conclusion that it is indeed faceless when the avtar is not a face. I suppose I kind of think of all of you like, because I am pretty sure most of you have hands in one form or another to type with, which is very suiting in your case.

and there I was imagining The Sacred Rihanna's 'special' friend.

😀
The more casual clothes bit is spot on.....
Think my hair isn't quite as grey as his, and I have a lot more of it (a lot more!) then of course there's all the facial hair.....
As for the beer gut.....I prefer to call it a CCZ - 'Covid crumple zone' 😉

Actually thinking about it....If you should look more like your icon, then maybe I should swap icons with Spanky?

I'm interested do people think I'm a man or a woman? Most people on other forums have thought I was a woman, but what about you lot?

With regard to the first question a definite yes.
I thought man because I associated the -or as a masculine suffix in your name, but now that you mention it I am not sure what burrunjor is/means and I should maybe look that up

Definitely a dude. Possibly from North London.

Haha what gave it away? My rugged manly charm? PS why do you think I'm from North London? Just curious. I'm from Glasgow, a grubby city in Scotland.

My Dad is from Glasgow! Can't remember which part, just he said it was really rough lol!!

Burrunjor is the name of a supposed living Tyrannosaurus Rex in Australia. There have been legends among the Aborigine people of a giant, two legged meat eating reptile said to live in the Jungles of central Australia. Some have suggested that it is a living Tyrannosaur and many farmers and locals have claimed to see it.

The police in the local area are said to not go near any areas the monster is said to dwell. There was also a famous story of a man buying a farm near the area and then leaving it when one of the Burrunjors came near.

I love these stories about supposed living Dinosaurs. I'm not saying I believe them, but just the idea of a Dinosaur being alive today is fascinating. I also love the Mokele Mbembe stories too.

Oh that’s so fun, never heard of any of this before!
Taake Oh that’s so fun, never heard of any of this before!

It's a fascinating subject.

Even if it's all rubbish (which it most likely is LOL) it's still an interesting look into the folklore around the world.

This guy has quite an interesting story about searching for the Mokele Mbembe, though I think some of it might fabricated.

Sadly Nessie has all but been debunked, but I always thought that was an interesting story at the least.

Out of curiosity do people have accents when you read their posts?

In my brain, everyone ends up with my accent, but I think that's because I started reading everyone's posts before I knew where anyone was from. In stories, usually i hear an accent when I read.
