I tried to find a thread that already covered this specific topic, I couldn't. If this needs to be moved and/or altered, please do so.
I just finished watching the epp, Into the Woods (I think that was the title) and was surprised by a few things.
First of all I really thought the whole thing with Riley visiting the vampires chicks was kinda.....erotic?! I understand why that is not right and why Buffy was so upset-but then again I think we all know Buffy's complete heart was never with Riley. I understand his motives for inititating that sort of behavior. I think they played on the whole dark, sinful and delicious aspect of vampires with this situation.
Second of all, I really like Riley's character on the show, even when he was only a love interest to Buffy. I know that there are many who don't/didn't, but I always rooted for the guy. When I heard about him leaving, I thought that when I watched this epp I would of been devestated. I wasn't. I was totally okay with his departure, which made me realize that I either didn't like his character that much or maybe I was just really getting in to the idea of Spike and Buffy!?! Hmm....I just think that a lot happened in this epp. Especially the end with Xander and Anya. I wanted to hear everybody's input and ideas, so if you feel like sharing, please do so!
