Is there any particular phrase that you overuse in real life and/or on the internet?

Babe.
I call everyone a babe, and I know for a lot of people it's the most annoying thing ever, whoops!

I'm also really americanised online, I say things that I would never say irl.

I think we all say things which we would never say in real life, babe. :D
I'm listening to the J4 show now and I'm realizing that I say "awwww" way too much.

Whenever my 1 year old little sister says "aww" I think of you! 😀

In my eyes I use the fat words very often. So in my opinion it would have been time to learn some new words. What do you think?

Haha that's better than saying "like" constantly 😉

I like saying like because then I think someoone likes the post. Wait...some likes too much. Just like a "like-machine"! :D

hahaha I just said "aww" when I read that
Loads of words in swedish. It doesn't really fit my use of english but in swedish I say that I'm dying a LOT of deaths. Like the cuteness death, the love death, the excitement death, the fun death and so on. I also use the word "life" all the time. It started with me and My friends kidding around about how much we love life (we do though), so much that we love life more than life. I say that a lot. "I'm so excited, more excited than life!". And if I'm really excited about something I just say "LIFE". Or "DIES". 😀

On here I think I overuse "mihihi" "miiih" and . 😀

It's been pointed out to me that I say 'crap' quite a lot and I use the word 'like' more often than I wish I did.

I say "crap" allll the time. too much haha
Online and texts - lol, lmao, tis, hun, hey ho and haha

IRL - hun, babes, and dear and hey ho.

I'm sure others would come up with other things I say too much also but I can't think of them.

Erm . . . I say "For reals" a lot. On the net and in real life.

Enter rooms saying, "Whatchyu doin', fool!?" That's my dad's fault.

And for the past forever I use "Balls!" whenever I do something stupid, or something stupid happens to me . . . which is A LOT. That one is probably Spike's fault. But then Bobby in SPN says it all the time too. I think I'm doomed to use it forever. . .

I used to say, "Oh balls!" all the time haha my mom hates it. I'm not sure why I stopped saying it as often. It's not something that I'd ever say online though...well, maybe in the chat.

I call every female in my life either "baby", "sweetheart", or "angel". And that will never change. Unless I have a girlfriend or something. 🙂 In real life, I say "well, at the end of the day," alot. Like, alot, alot. 😀 Like if someone is talking about what shirt they should wear, or if they want pizza or chinese food, I'd be like, "well, at the end of the day". Hahaha it's so ridiculous. And I used to say "farting monkeys" alot whenever something bad happened. Like I could be throwing a football, and if it went over a fence or something, "Oh, Farting Monkeys!" I have very strange taste in vocabulary. I have no idea where I get it from. 😛

And I can't forget the classic, "true". I've been saying that ever since I was little. "I've had such a bad day!" "True, true". 😉

And I also say "I know, right?" heaps

Ha! Me too, I say 'I know, right?' way too much.

IRL I also have a tendency to call people 'dude' way too much and online I use far too many smilies, my excuse is that I smile a lot in IRL so whenever I use a smiley it's probably cause I really am tilting my head and smiling

Haha I go crazy with the smilies. I didn't realize how much I use them til they weren't available. It just feels so...wrong, thanking someone online without one. Unless it's like a "serious" thank you, as in the situation regarding the thanks is sombre...if that makes sense.

Notice though that I controlled myself and managed to not use a smiley in the post where I said I use too many 😀

(dang it, there that streak ended as quickly as it came)

that cracks me up as I just wrote "for real?" to you at FB Lol
Growing up, my primary heroes in the movies were cowboys, and from them, I picked up the phrase, "Howdy," as a greeting, and still use it today. Also, because of those same cowboys, I picked up "ain't, and "ain't got no," much to my parents' dismay, and though I was an English Major in college, can conjugate verbs with the best, and have been told that I am at least a fairly articulate writer, those words still slip into my conversation today.

Hopalong Cassidy? Lash Larue? Have Gun Will Travel?
I used to always say too. Like, if i liked something i'd say 'thats too good' or if something was funny i'd say 'thats too funny'. People would comment on it all the time and i used to annoy myself with how much i said it.

Darla agrees: Hopalong Cassidy? Lash Larue? Have Gun Will Travel?

Hoppy, Gene, Roy, Lash, Tex, Johnny Mack Brown, Eddy Dean, Wild Bill Elliot, Whip Wilson, The Lone Ranger, Rex Allen, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Lawman, Bronco, Cheyenne, Daniel Boone, Wagon Train, The Big Valley, The High Chaparral...Should I go on?

Sky King? :p
I work in a shop where I have to interact with children every day so I end up using little endearments like "Hun", "Lovey", "Sweetheart", "Honey", and "Darlin'" a lot.

It is impossible for me to go more than two sentences without saying "actually" or "like".
