Yup I do a few actually.
1. You're Welcome completely redone/re-written with Buffy. I know there is one out there that is a one shot and it's sweet but I want the full re-write with Buffy pulling Angel out of his funk and giving him his purpose. It would need to include a prophetic dream which would lead him to the Black Thorne plan of action of which she could be a part of the plan (pretending to release Angelus by sleeping with her instead of Nina).
2. Weight of the World re-write where Angel is the one who pulls Buffy out of her catatonic state and ultimately convinces her not to give up the fight and helps her defeat Glory.
3. I also have this idea that has been stuck in my head about bringing Buffy back from the dead at the end of Season 3 of Angel right when Angel is meeting Cordy at the Bluffs. Buffy has memory loss when she returns (literally dropped from the sky kind of like Angel was brought back) and when she is brought back there is a charm/spell/curse however you want to look at it that doesn't allow Angel and Buffy to be physically far apart from each other without making them ill (thereby forcing them to work stay in the same place and work out their issues) and this is all part of a master plan by the Powers for purposes of having the two warriors working together for the final battle. The meaning of "Together you were powerful. Alone, you are dead." is finally explained as Buffy and Angel have to face the end of days (AtS season 4 plot kinda) together and only them two can defeat the beast/Jazmine or some final type threat.
I actually started to write this one but I realized how much I suck at dialogue writing so I stopped.

I might try to tackle one of your challenges once I have my IWRY stories done. Sounds fun, though whether it's any good will be another question entirely.

Of course they can. Buffy and Angel deserve it after all they have gone through;not to mention all the sacrifices each have made for the world. They deserve to be happy together without the world or Angelus keeping them apart. It probably wouldn't be seen as canon, but it would be something.

I was hoping to have two stories but it looks like I'll just have the one ready unless I get a major break at work and can dedicate the next weekend to it. Doubtful.
Interesting aside, since we spoke of Betas upstream somewhere. I had commented on a story written by MaquisLeader who was a bangel fic writer who wrote years ago as to why she didn't write in the fandom anymore and sadly her answer was that she doesn't have anyone to beta her fics. I guess most of her old betas didn't want to beta anymore? Who knows.
Interesting aside, since we spoke of Betas upstream somewhere. It's a bit naughty to say this, but as long as you're done with the fic before November ends, it can still be added to the marathon. Due dates are less crucial now that it's on A03 instead of a homemade site. Last year, I only had one of my fics done in October. Finished the rest throughout November.

This sounds like you could kill two birds with one stone - IWRY fan fiction and NaNoWriMo with one story. NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month where people write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. This is a worldwide contest so who knows, you may make Buffy great again.
I'm getting there its at 30K words right now. But I can promise you it won't win any awards. LOL I have many talents, fiction writing is not one. I am doing this for fun and for love of the fandom. But - I would love to see some of our good writers entering this contest though! Where do you enter?
