I would be so excited to see some movies about this. I wish SMG would star, but I'll take what I can get. I wonder how successful they would be however.
This is why I could see them getting together for a big theatrical release film rather than 4 made for TV movies..That way they could have them ALL get involved. Still, Joss could handle it my focusing on one character at a time. Suppose for example Spike wakes up after THE BIG FIGHT. He is not human, he still has a soul, he doesn't know what exactly became of the others. He is in Boston for some reason or another, and while he is calling around to find out if the AI people are back in LA, instead he runs into Giles who has been putting the Watchers Council back together and has come to Boston to pick up some important books that he doesn't trust to the post or a courier. Before they can exchange pleasantries the city is under attack. Ethan has joined forces with a revived offshoot of the Order of the Goden Dawn and not only is the city in danger but Slayers 'round the world will die unless Spike and Giles can stop him etc. And let's face it, that's just a lameo spur of the moment theme. I'm sure Joss can not only do better but tie them together so that each character meets another challenge that is part of a larger plan.eset said:The movies seem like a good idea, but I wonder how Joss'll put the storylines back together again--Angel and Buffy ended in such different directions.
