I just saw the episode today. He doesn't talk with a British accent in real life. I can't believe he was going to turn down the part as Spike. His band is cool.

Oh yea James is really from California, so the british accent is a fake, a very good fake. And the band, unfortunately, is now broken up🙁. They were awesome
