James Marsters performs in London in May, 2009. Anyone going?

Ok, last post, promise. Just wanted to drop by and welcome anyone who hasn't officially joined us yet to come find us on the day if you're lonely. 😉 The more the merrier! I'm currently a red-head and I'm forever wearing jeans, so there's a chance you might be able to find us. 🙂
 
I bought his Civilized Man CD and really did not like it. I was disappointed but what can ya do! I'd love to support him and see him perform regardless, maybe when he comes down my way. Have fun everyone going!

I just got home from London last night. Was very awsome indeed. :biggrin: James is my hero, he seemed so nice and humble even with all us girls screaming at him, which could go to anyone's head. Exactly the kind of performer I love the most (where the line between performer and audience is less distinct) I especially loved his acapella cowboy song on Sunday. It was the only time he exhibited signs of nerves, but he nailed as far as I'm concerned.
My only complaint: WHY has he not recorded/released songs like Button Down Vandals, Dangerous (yes, Perny there was actually a song with that name!), Fall of the Night and all the rest I can't remember the names to? There are some pretty fantastic ones there! Am I really not going to be able to hear them again before my next gig? 🙁

And it was very nice to get to meet a few boardies as well - made me feel a little less lonely in a crowd where everybody seemed to know somebody. 🙂

Just saw on Youtube that Dangerous was a Ghost of the Robot song. I think the entire album can be heard there... My... It's a small wonder that they broke up. James is a hell of a lot better these days..

hi, it was great meeting you, we didn't stay long, but he did walk though the club while we were there, someone has posted a video on youtube of him singing that cowboy song
 
On his website they now have the lyrics to that song, most on the concert is on youtube
