As i've said already i'm a huge country fan and so i'm signed up to recieve the CMT Newsletter and I just got one in my inbox today about this whole thing... I mean its not hugely interesting but Taylor Swift made an apperance Tuesday on ABC's
The View and i thought i'd post a few things from the article.
Swift told the hosts of The View that she still hadn't been contacted by West in the aftermath of his outburst on the awards show, but she said she would be willing to speak to him. "Sure. I mean, he has not personally reached out or anything, but if he wanted to just say hi," she said.
West phoned her shortly after the Tuesday episode of The View aired.
"Kanye did call me, and he was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology," she told ABC News Radio.
The article also has her saying this
Recalling her reaction when she realized she had won the award, Swift said, "My overall thought process went something like, 'Wow, I can't believe I won. This is awesome. Don't trip and fall. I'm going to get to thank the fans. This is so cool. Oh, Kanye West is here. Cool haircut. What are you doing there?" And then, 'Ouch!' And then, 'I guess I'm not gonna get to thank the fans.'"
Swift said she didn't have time to mentally process the situation at the time.
"I'm not going to say that I wasn't rattled by it, but I had to perform live five minutes later, so I had to get myself back to the place where I could perform," she said.
