I remember when season seven's plot about the first unfolded, and that it can look like anything dead, undead, or that has died that I REALLY wanted to see Kendra again. Not only would it have been amazing, but it totally could have played into something about Buffy's failure's, since she kind of takes Kendra's death as her fault.

God that would have been amazing seeing Kendra again after all those years.

oh my gosh..is that tina fey in your banner? she looks sooooooo much like that woman
Maybe the First just couldn't pull off that accent. ; )

Well Lord knows Bianca couldn't!!!

But seriously, I watch season 7 and yes, I too think

'Hmm, what this season needs is MORE aspects to mess with the mind of Buffy, what it needs is ANOTHER thread, what it needs its something ELSE added to the story line because its pretty sparse!!!'

I don't think we needed Kendra, we definitely didn't need a 'Buffy's failure' storyline because that was already being dealt with near the end.

Hell yeah it would have ROCKED! Wouldn't THAT have taken everyone by surprise, to see Bianca Lawson back as The First.... Wicked! 😀

I know I would have loved to see Kendra back in any shape or form. I just love the charecter to death and it was sad that she had to die so early. And I think it would have hit Buffy in a certain part of her if TheFirst appeared as her since Buffy probably felt a little guilty about her death.

That makes me think, why wasn't Buffy feeling more guilty about Kendra. It is like she is never mentioned again except her role in Faith being called. Kendra is one of Buffy's biggest failures. Ya she ran away after it, but it was played off that she ran away because she didn't want to deal with her mom, friends, and killing Angel. She should of been more upset about Kendra then anything. Ya she sent Angel to hell, but Angelus was going to end the world and deserved to die for everything he had done in his past. Kendra was called like Buffy, completely innocent compared to Angel's past sins. It was completely Buffy's fault for falling into the same trap for the 1000th time. I guess it is true that Kendra was a warrior and it was her duty. Also she knew the risk of being the Slayer, but she still wouldn't of died if Buffy was there.

To bad the Buffyverse was never big on time traveling since Faith thinks Buffy is bad to be around...Kendra and Faith would be at each others neck after spending 24 hrs together.

Some sort of Kendra/Buffy and/or Faith interaction could have been good, but there was already enough new and returning characters and sub-plots to fill up two or three good seasons. The way that it turned out, Kendra would just have added more to the muddle. Maybe she can return or be revisited somehow in Season 8 or Season 9, or better yet she could be the disembodied spirit guide/pain in the a** for Faith in a spinoff, maybe with Spike included to aggravate the bejeezus out of Giles. We've had "Spike: After The Fall," so why not "Faith: After Spike."

Yeah, I really wanted to see all three of the slayers together.

Well Spike needed the spin off since After the Fall mainly focuses on Angel (The First Night being the exception), where Season 8 focuses on various characters. Also, Joss said that Season 8 concludes there are plans to focus on story lines outside of the scope of Buffy.

I've often thought it might make an interesting story to explain why the First never tried to screw with Willow by appearing to her as Tara. I know the real-life reason is that Amber wasn't available, but within the story it seems like an odd omission on the First's part... considering how important Willow was to the whole effort.

Its never really explained, but I like to believe its based on the fact that Tara is a pure soul, a beacon of absolute good.
