Killed by Death thing

Well we do have the puppet. And I think I can do a fairly good interpretation of the Count. So if people just start with the random singing, why not?!

It's time for BB to get a facelift, a new image. Might be good for the boards 😉

Change is good...and really who doesn't love muppets?? I always thought Oscar was cool...it would be like a continuation of the OMWF...can only be of the good!!

But I somehow think something like that could easily escalate into a horrible, horrible nightmare. Singing and dancing and vampire slaying muppets without sex sounds a little bit like a hellish nightmare rather than a good time. Or perhaps I'm just being picky.

actually i think its a petty good description of what an Angel musical episode would have been like!!

It does? Yeah you might be right. I'm just glad I never had to see it. Some things should be left unexplored.

This episode really freaked me out. I had to stay up all night because I was afraid of sleeping after reading about Freddy Krueger, and the monsterguy in this ep looks like they were seperated at birth.. eek! I have to watch all the eps chronologicly, so I had to get through this one before I could continue. I didn't dare to watch it alone, so I begged my sister to come sit by me and then I just hid behind her every time the monster showed up. Why does everything have to be so scary? 🙁

I have never been scared by even the scariest monster movies. Until this. Der Kindestod was so scary and creepy...ugh I can only watch this episode during the day. His laugh...heebie jeebies.

I always thought there were no thing. That it was just something Cordy thinks she sees because she always finds flaws on people. I doubt there is anything at all.

I've always wondered myself what Cordelia meant when she referred to 'the thing you do with your hair' myself. Would have made sense in season 3 with the weird fringe thing, but I never really got it in season 2. And yes, I think Cordy was talking bout her nose. It's fairly prominent.

Okay, fun fact - I'm scared of going to bed because of Der Kindestod. Does he only attack people with the illness?

No.
Being very sick with a high fever allowed the children to see him. I don't think it had anything to do with his ability to kill them. He stuck around the hospital because it was like an easy, free buffet. He obviously preferred to kill children, and perhaps chose the ones that could see him because he got some sick pleasure out of it.

D'oh! 🙁
Well, that helped. Okay. But there was only one, right? It's not like he's got kids and a wife or something lurking around?

The kinda job he had? I'm guessing he had nobody to come home to and talk about what a FUN day he had at work.
I haven't seen the "thing" on Sarah's nose..
So maybe it was what Cordy was talking about, but yes it could be anything knowing Cordy.
I find when Cordelia uses the phrase "thing" she just expects everyone to know what she's talking about lmao

Umm I also think that "thing" is her nose. But they don't actually say what the thing is because it was the wrong time and Cordy is just being Cordy.

Hahaha that hair thing was disturbing because I always tought Buffy has perfect hair.

I think that Killed By Death is one of the scariest episodes in all of Buffy.
I'm not fond of hospitals at all, they really creep me out, so it made it really frightening to watch.

I assumed Cordy may have been talking about that permi-pimple thing of Sarah's. It's not noticeable at all (except in certain scenes or at certain angles), but if you look closely she has this small under the skin pimple or bumb or whatever, and it's there throughout the entire series. But the nose thing makes way more sense. lol.

Another thing about this episode, I found it odd how Angelus backed off at the hospital after Xander's little threat.
Angelus: Do you really think you could stop me?
Xander: Maybe not me, but I'm wondering if that security guard over there could. Or *points out a handful of other people*

Why on earth would Angelus have felt threatened by the hospital staff? It's common knowledge in the buffyverse that cops/security guards have no impact on demons. The demons can wipe the floor with any human aside from Buffy. Whatever. I'm not that nit picky
