Tranquility mentioned something in the Episode 3 thread I thought was so inspired it needed its own thread.
In ep 3 Buffy is awakened from a sleeping spell by a kiss from someone who loves her. We don't know who planted the kiss.
When Buffy first awakes she says "I have a funny feeling in my mouth", and then "CINNAMON BUNS!" written in capitals in emboldened text, just like that.
Ok, so Tranquility pointed to this quote from a conversation between Lorne and Angel in Waiting in the Wings.
For those who forget what Kyrumption is, it's a Pylean term meaning when "two great heroes come together". It's originally mentioned in relation to Angel and Cordelia.
This all points towards Angel being the one who planted the kiss. We never did find out who belonged to the floating feet from ep 1 which were landing on the castle in Scotland.
Here's the only problem with the theory though. Willow suggests the one who will kiss Buffy is is in the room. As far as anybody knows Angel is not.
So, I don't know...invisible?
BTW, before someone mentions it, Dark Horse editor Scott Allie says they can use Angel in Buffy Season 8. IDW does not own the exclusive rights to use the character in their comic series.
