I really love the series as a whole so far. I think it does a wonderful job of looking into the lives of GLB people and what they go through. I was talking to Kristine on Facebook earlier, talking about how emotional it has been to watch Bette and Tina trying to have a baby together. As a hetero couple, my husband and I struggled for 3 years to get pregnant and all we had to do was keep having sex. I can't imagine having to go through the things that a gay couple would, if they were trying to have a child. It's so sad but awesome that someone would be willing to do all of that for a baby. 🙂
As someone who lived in fear for a long time of anyone finding out that I am bi, I can totally relate to Dana. Her feelings of being terrified someone would see her in the "wrong place at the wrong time" are all too familiar. I used to FREAK about going to the gay clubs around my college, so scared someone I knew would see me there and tell my family. Now that I'm older, I don't care. I mean, I'm a married woman and I believe in monogamy, so I don't go around talking about being bi to everyone I know just because I don't want to deal with the drama it would cause, but if someone asks I'm not going to lie about it anymore.
But anyway, as a whole, I am loving the series. I can't wait to get through it all so I can see what happens to all these characters!
