Least favorite character and why.

I went with Connor. I loved baby Connor and even the idea of Angel having a kid but teen Connor really annoyed me.

My vote is for Tara.. Sorry Tara lovers.
I find it hard to explain why I don't like Tara. I think it was Amber Benson's acting after Glory melted her brain. That really.. cut right through me. I hated the character after that. It wasn't just Amber's acting, I don't doubt for one second that she's an great actress, it's just Tara's actual character, she was too dopey for me.

Obviously, I love Anya, Spike and Xander! Who doesn't? (Wait, don't answer that...) And Riley's even alright (some of the time...)

To be honest, the only characters I really despise are Warren and Conner. I can find good qualities in the rest of the bunch. Despite being a sexist pig, Warren actually was pretty brilliant if you think about it. I mean, he could make extremely realistic robots. Just sayin'.

And Conner...well, like I said. Can't say I find anything redeeming in him. He tried to kill his father by sinking him to the bottom of the ocean. And subject us to his constant whining and ungrateful bitching. He then tried to blow himself up. And random innocent people. And Cordelia. I mean, really. The kid's got issues.
I guess I just feel for Angel in this situation. He did everything for that kid and the kid did gave him nothing in return.

That's interesting what you said about Willow. Guess I can't comment as people say that about Spike all the time. I can't really say anything bad about the core four. It'd feel sacrilegious or something.

In terms of a popular character I don't so much care for? Xander. Honestly. He's just sort of boring and average. I like that he's brave. It's not that I don't care for him really, I just don't find him that interesting.

I once voted Kennedy in similar poll, but not this time. Riley also got 'honorable' mention, but not voting for him either. I guess I will go with Veruca this time. While she was not in many episodes, she still had bigger part than Rhona (whom I had totally forgot last voting).

If she was not regular enough I would have to go with the First.

Sorry everyone, but I'm a big time Xander hater. I haven't always been, but he does the opposite of grow on me... Whatever that is. Shrinks on me?!

I won't go into all the reasons I dislike him. The audience have been given plenty. I just don't like him. End.

I hate that man so, so much. There was nothing interesting about his character at all, exsept how annoying he was.
He just seemed like a pretentious, self-obsessed, c*%£ who was so stuck in his way that he just came across as a complete jerk.

I like him in the way I like (and am annoyed by Lynettes husband whats - his - nice - face in Desperate Housewives)

I voted for Dawn.

It was a tough choice, not because I dislike more characters, but because I think all characters have at least something to like. I was almost going for Riley, but I liked him in the beginning, when he and Buffy were just circling eachother. Plus, I appreciate what he's done for her. I don't know about Connor, because I am not that far in AtS yet. I didn't really mind Kennedy or any of the other potentials (YES, they were annoying, but there were relatively few episodes with them, and they made for some good moments, too). I also like Dawn more now then I did before, but there is something about her that annoys me. I think s5 really ruined her for me, if you know what I mean. Cos in s7, she was quite okay. I just can't seem to like her.

It was tough...between Riley and Dawn. I voted for Dawn because of her whiny, me, me, me attitude in season 5 and she didn't get any better onwards.

I have to agree here. I can't stand Connor. I did not like the character when older or the actor to be honest. I think they could have done so much better with both. I found him dull and annoying!

As much as I loathed Conner sin S4 Angel... at least he redeemed himself in S5. Kennedy has to take the prize. Unbelievably annoying, no redeeming features.

I hate him. I hate his stupid hair cut. I hate that he does push-ups as soon as he wakes up in the morning. I hate his dopey smile. I hate the lines he has where I know I'm supposed to go "awwww" but instead I go "arrrggghh!" because I hate him so much. I HATE the scene with Angel, which is supposed to be all badass except Riley ruins it by saying, "I surely do." I SURELY DO?? WTH?!?!? I hate every single line he's ever had, aside from when he tells Xander that he'll be singing "We're going to Xander's la la la laaa"...that was his only good line, EVER, but by then (S5) I hated him so much I could hardly stand watching the show as soon as he appeared. I hate his shoulder divets. I hate his Iowaness. I hate that the writers felt, for whatever reason, that they needed to club us over the head with how wholesome he was. I hate when Buffy calls him "Mr. Finn" like that adds intrigue to his boring character. I hate how incredibly snooze-worthy he is. I hate his and Buffy's boring sex. (C'mon, you know you were thinking it.) I hate how jealous he gets over Angel FOR NO REASON. I hate how damn insecure he is. I hate how he's made of cardboard. I hate his whole army man thing...usually soldiers are hot, but Riley totally ruined that too. I hate that scene with Spike. You know the one. Few people can ruin a scene with Spike, but Riley can. I hate how his jaw muscle twitches. I hate when he tries to be tough. I HATE when said, "I've never courted a girl like Buffy before." COURTED??!? Who in God's green Earth wrote this guy's lines?!?!?! I hate that it took him A SEASON AND A HALF to go away. And even then, HE COMES BACK.

At any rate, while I dislike Kennedy enormously, and I also dislike some of the potentinals, and I really dislike Dawn I'm voting other.

Cannot stand anything about her, or any of her annoying storylines.

I think there's a lot of characters to hate but one has to be careful in choosing because some of them were MEANT to be hated...so can you really count them? Like I hated Adam. Completely stupid character. I hated Warren. The very embodiment of everything I hate in a man. But that's what they were meant to be. So I guess I'll go with Angel during the Buffy seasons. He was just so whiny and dramatic. Always made my skin crawl. Now Angelus on the other hand...

Sure, you as suppose to hate the bad guys, but very often the bad guys are what makes something go from being good to AMAZING for me. I have to care enough about seeing the good guys stop the bad guys otherwise I lose interest and the threat is taken away. This is why I hated Adam. He was boring and I didn't really feel he threatened much. Glory is an example of Buffy enemy that was great and I love her to death.

She made me worry about every character in the show. She was threatening, funny, interesting and is the reason I think of season 5 as my second favorite season.

My point is that the best bad guys are the ones where you can hate them, and yet still find away to love them because you hate them so much.
