Black Eye Guy
Taking over the World!
Why do you think there is such a connection between liking a character and automatically shipping?
For example, I really like Angel and really dislike Spike, and that kinda seems to automatically translate to Buffy/Angel and anti Spike/Buffy. I really dont like shipping, I hate the shipping names and rarely use them. I dont like Spike, so dont like him with Buffy and prefer Angel and buffy together over Buffy and Spike, but I really like Angel and Cordelia together.
Does shipping mean you can only like one paring of a character?
I also really dont like that you can't start an argument about a character without it turning into a shipping argument.
So I was wondering what others though, does disliking a character mean anti-shipping. And is shipping too interconnected to separate from a character argument?
