Lines That ALWAYS Make you Laugh Out Loud

What lines in Buffy or Angel always make you truly laugh out loud?

I was thinking about this because i just watched Intervention, and i absolutely love when Giles does the little ritual with the shaking of the gourd and i love the way buffy looks at him and says "and that's what it's all about." i totally laughed. It always makes me laugh because it was just so well done.

Also Xander's comment about putting a little bell on Angel.

And most things Andrew says. And i always laugh when the trio continually fight about whose a better James Bond, and about the death star argument when andrew paints it on the side of the van (they are truly the reason i love the episode Life Serial).

And of course "A bear! you made a bear!" "i didn't mean to!" "undo it, undo it!"

There are others im sure im not thinking of.

So what makes you laugh out loud?

When a drunken Giles finds out Willow is going out with Tara..'Bloody Hell...' I LOL every single time I hear that.

Pretty much anything Wesley said during 'Spin the Bottle'

Oh during Band Candy when Buffy and Willow got to the Bronze and all the grown ups are acting like crazed teens. Buffy says maybe they should call a doctor that they could have heart attacks and then Willow sees her shirtless 50+ doctor swan dive into the crowd. I always laugh when she says 'I think that is my doctor. He's usually less topless'.

One that I remember is after Xander admits he bribed Wily.

"Xander: Does the Council reimburse for that sort of thing?
Giles: Did you keep the reciept?
Xander: Damn!"

"Giles:Good Morning, no need to panic.
Oz: Just a thought. Poker? Not your game"

"Buffy: Why are...you had sex with Giles?
Joyce: Uh...
Buffy: You had SEX with Giles?!
Joyce: It was the candy. We were teenagers!
Buffy: On the hood of a police car?
Joyce: I'll be downstairs. You feel better.
Buffy: TWICE?!"

"Buffy: That boy who kept poking his finger in the duck.
Angel: Dyke. It's another word for dam.
Buffy: Oh. That story makes a lot more sense now."

"Giles: I can't believe you sold Buffy that beer
Xander: I didn't know it was evil.
Giles: You knew it was beer!"

"Dawn: Are you kidding? It was like a meat party in my mouth. [beat] Okay, I'm just a kid and even I knew that sounded wrong"

"Buffy: Giles, care to jump in with an explanation anytime soon?
Giles: Well, clearly something...very...strange...is going on.
[beat]
Xander: Can you believe the Watcher's Council let this guy go?"

"Buffy: [Seeing the adult smoochies] Mom? Giles?
Giles: [Not breaking kiss at all] Go away we're busy"

Hmm...a lot of those lines featured Giles. Funny that. 😀.

Whoa; I quoted way more than I intended there. But there are just so many scenes that make me laugh out loud. There is one scene in Enemies that makes me laugh but it isn't because of dialogue. It's the scene where Angel comments on Joyce's hair. And when he walks off telling her 'It looks nice' she has this little smug smirk of glowdom going on that basically says 'Heh, Heh, get me. Angel liked my hair'. The first time I saw that her expression just made me laugh. It was perfect.

Ok not dialogue but I thought of two more that ALWAYS make me laugh...

In Revelations when Buffy is taking out Lagos. The expressions on Willows face could possibly be the highlight of the entire series for me! It's just too funny.

Also in A New Man when Giles gets Spike to stop the car in the middle od Sunnydale, jumps out and chases Maggie Walsh. Brilliant!

I *love love love* that scene with Giles and Maggie Walsh. Especially when after he's done it he calmly gets back in the car and is like 'Right, carry on'. Haha. And Maggie SO deserved it

Buffy: Thanks, but no. I don't wanna seem all petty.
Willow: Well, that's the beauty! You can't, but I can. Please. Let me carry the hate for the both of us.

Always makes me laugh, and plus all through that scene Willows facial expressions are absolutely hilarious haha

Oh there are so many more, but the harder I think the less are coming to my mind...that' evil!!

And I know it doesn't have lines, but there's this scene that ALWAYS gets me laughing:
Principal Wood sitting in his office, and in the background we see Buffy with this huge weapon-thingy, trying to shot him and Spike arriving just in time to get this thing away from her and then Spike getiing chased down by Buffy...I was watching this scene with my brother the other day and boy, were we laughing!

Oh man, that and the whole puppet fight scene put me in hysterics.

in Band Candy. that whole episode is great but that line never fails to give me the giggles, cause he sounds so excited when he says it like he's all "this rollercoaster is awesome", yeh, it just makes me laugh.

in Band Candy. that whole episode is great but that line never fails to give me the giggles, cause he sounds so excited when he says it like he's all "this rollercoaster is awesome", yeh, it just makes me laugh.

Damn, how could I forget that one? Haha. That line is just excellent. Snyder doesn't stop making me laugh in Band Candy. And Armin Shimermen did it all so well, and his delivery of that particular line...I can't watch it without spluttering out giggles.

I laughed out loud in the scene in Hush when Giles is proudly describing the Bad using his home-drawn projector slides. He puts up a slide of Buffy and she makes this really funny gesture, protesting about how he's drawn her hips.

And many others that I can't think of right now because I have homework on the brain.

Firefly, and it gets me laughing as hard as the characters on-screen every time:

In the pilot, when Mal tells Simon that Kaylee is dead and Simon rushes over, thinking all the while that he's now a dead man. He gets to the infirmary, Kaylee smiles and waves at him.

Cut to the cockpit, and Mal, Jayne, Zoe, and Wash are all laughing as hard as they can.

Funny stuff.
