LOST Season Five **Spoilers**

Is it weird that i saw the sawyer/juliet thing as soon as sawyer swam back to the island after he jumped out of the helicopter last season? I just went, oh, there they are, sitting on the beach, watching the boat go down... and something about the way they were looking at each other even the rest of season 4 made me say, oh crap they are gonna hook up. So i wasn't surprised AT ALL.

I actually liked seeing Juilet and Sawyer together, they looked quite sweet and cute in their little home trying to be as normal as possible about everything. The only thing I didn't like was the fact Sawyer had shaved, he looked too clean cut. Now that Jack, Kate and Hurley have met up with them I can't wait to see the fireworks go off especially to see Kates reaction to Sawyer moving on.

That is, if Sawyer actually has moved on. He says he has, but something tells me he'll be singing a different tune now that Kate is back.

From your lips to Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse's ears! I'm hoping for that exact same thing... and I think we'll get our wish... I still firmly believe it WILL be Sawyer and Kate together in the end!

I know, I'm saying how would they know to call him Bentham if he didn't refer to himself as that in their brief meetings with him.

Maybe there were more encounters with Bentham that we weren't shown.

I actually liked the Sawyer and Juliet pairing. I'm not a big fan of the whole quadrangle thing they like to mess around with so much.

I'm also holding on that the statue is one of the Losties, but I don't want to be on it just yet. It might be a little disappointing if it turns out to be Anubis or a fertility goddess. I don't know. I'll be blown away either way I'm sure.

So nothing really mind-blowing in the newest episode (might have been better if I'd watched it sober....just a theory at this point).

It was interesting that Amy's baby (born in the last episode) is the infamous Ethan. Can't say I was surprised at all when the boy who visited Sayid at the end said his name was Ben though. Who else would it have been? Sawyer made a brief mention of Faraday not being around anymore. That was interesting. Are we thinking Faraday died at some point during the three years that passed on the island or left the Dharma Initiative, etc.?

This makes three episodes in a row with no Desmond. I think it's time the time travelling Scot got a little screentime. No Locke in the last two either (well, other than stock footage at the beginning of last weeks)

Something dawned on me last episode... where the hell are Rose and Bernard? They stayed behind on the island right? Why haven't we seen them in forever... they better not be off our screen for good, they are the underrated heart of this show IMO. And also where is Vincent?!

I read that in a LOST podcast, the producers said Rose and Bernard are alive and we'll see them again. And when the show first started, they promised they'd never kill off the dog. If Rose and Bernard are alive though, where exactly have they been hiding? It seems strange that the Dharma Initiative wouldn't have seen a trace of them in three years, especially with Jin actively looking around the island for the other 815ers.

Hopefully, they'll be back soon. Desmond, too, since he hasn't been in the last three episodes at all and he's supposed to be a regular. I think L. Scott Caldwell and Sam Anderson (Rose and Bernard) get fairly steady work on other television shows, which is probably why we've seen so little of Rose and Bernard the last couple years.

and obviously there was stilla bit of spark between jack and juliet... you could tell in the way they looked at each other when he knocked on her door.

Just watched the episode. Wanted to see more Kate / Sawyer interaction. Just to see how he feels about her now. I for one want to see Sawyer and Juliette together. Kate is one of those characters that has become more and more irritating as the show progressed. Her entire character is now defined by the person she is in a relationship with. Yawn. I miss season 1 Kate, all tough girl on the run from the law. Juliette and Sawyer please. Kate can have Jack, he's just as dull as her. 🙂

I am completely devoted to Ben after the last few episodes.. C'mon the psycho's ruling the island!!!!

And I know there is a secret about Charlie later on...He's back!!!! BWHAHAHA... JK...but I wish he did come back.

Revolver agrees: Maybe he'll appear to Hurley again.

I am thinking more alive... Crazy shit has been happening, and I've heard Zombie rumors. So why shouldn't he be alive?

Maybe he'll appear to Hurley again.
I heard that its like this TV show where anything can happen because its actually ficticious and written by a group of people who use their 'imaginations' and such to create this world and they keep adding these 'twists', if you will, that are added to keep the narrative interesting.

But I prefer the 'Hurley is dreaming' senario because the other is just ludicrous!

Ok so last nights episode had a few twists I didn't see coming and its just bought on more confusion I think. Is it me or are Sun, Ben, Frank and the other people from the plane in a totally different time period? As when they went to Dharmaville, everything looked a wreck and freaky Christian Sheppard greeted them and showed them the photo of everyone else with the Dharma dudes back in 1977?

If I did pick up on it right talk about dragging out Sun and Jin's reunion even more but then I guess when it does happen it will be a very touching moment. Loved how Sawyer says he thinks before doing anything and doesn't just react like Jack did, what a slap in the face for Jack haha.

Yeah Sun and Ben and the pilot are on the island in present time right now while the rest of the Losties are on the island in 1977. I'm gathering that Christian's role will be kind of like a guide to reunite Sun and the others with the rest of the gang in the past. Yep, this show has left all subtlety behind and gone full on sci-fi this season. I'm excited though, I'm loving the hell out of it!

I don't think Ben's group is in the present. I think they are within a few months but ahead of the other group. I think the island did not allow all of them to be in the same time period as Jack's group because Locke was told by Christian that if only some of them come back there will be problems. Also Ben was punished because it was him and not Locke who spinned the wheel that started all the time jumping. Sun and the rest will catch up in time with the rest of the 815'ers when Aaron, Desmond and Sun's baby (she was pregnant) join them on the island and that is what Christian is going to tell them, and Locke has to help them without Ben's help.
The one character that has me real curious is Faraday. Where is he and what will be his role now?

Faraday will be coming back in to play soon. I believe there is to be an episode coming up that is supposed to be a Desmond/Faraday continuation from the amazing episode "The Constant" called "The Variable."

The Variable (2009)

On a random note...We hopefully will see who is on the receiving end of that gunshot from Juliet when they were in the outriggers soon.

I would have to say it is Ben leading the new survivors because if the new group catches up with the old group and compare notes Ben would be toast because he has probably got them to drink a whole vat of kool-aid.
