I saw the solar eclipse, it was pretty cool looking from Los Angeles; about 85% of the sun was covered. I ended up going on a evening hike up by the observatory and they had a bunch telescopes with special filters for people to use and solar sunglasses for sale so I was able to get a pretty good look at it.
 
Was the eclipse only viewable in the US? Because it was sunny all week-end here and there never was an eclipse... ???
 
Has anyone else in the UK been enjoying this mini little heat wave we've been having? With weather this warm I think we shouldnt have to go in work 🙂

It is the same way in Sweden! Super hot! I haven't enjoyed it that much though because of my studying. But! I finished tonight! So you'll be seeing more of me now even though I'll also be outside enjoying the weather 🙂

I have worked a lot but when I have had the chance I have been reading in the garden. I can't believe there have been people saying it's too hot. So I'm all for the not having to work. Especially next weekend, which I am working ALL of. 🙁

That's awful you having to work all weekend!! I'm in on the saturday but I'm hoping they'll send us home because I cant imagine it being busy

Kind of. I thought I was gonna die walking home from college today 😛

But I guess I shouldn't complain. 😱
 
Its been freezing here! Clear blue early 20's during the day but down to 0 at night and in the early morning. Its ok until I have to get out of bed and feed the horses LOL. The grass has been frozen!
 
I've been working till 8 most of the week and yesterday I finished at 5, so as soon as I got home I was straight in the garden. I'm going to have a nice relaxing weekend of sun bathing because I bet this is the only nice weather we have all summer 🙁
 
Terribly hot over here, we have around 30C/85F! 🙂 In these days I'm having fun, it's hot enough to go out every afternoon and evening but non not "if I get out I faint" hot 😛
 
It's been very hot in the last few days here too. 30C in May is almost a record...

Anyone would accept a little me crashing at their home for a while??? I can't take the students strike anymore it's getting out of hands and it's for such stupid reasons... I wish I could just move *head meets desk*............

No heat wave here. It's been in the 60's*F, but raining almost everyday. It's looking pretty dreary this morning as well. It's Memorial Day on Monday so everyone has a long weekend (I always do anyway, though!) so that's kind of a bummer. We usually go out to the shack and BBQ and such, but I think we'll be staying home.
 
So last night I saw the movie The Chernobyl Diaries in theatres. It was... not very good. 😛 I don't recommend it.

So what is everyone up to this weekend?

I've not had much of a chance to make the most of the weather because I've been working all week. I have three days off now though for my birthday, so I'm hoping the weather lasts!

I also got a pay rise today. 😀

Going to see my cousin and her son tonight for dinner.

Also right now I'm trying to decide if opening an Etsy shop for my handmade cards is a good idea or not....................

Weather is still hot over here! And I'm having a lot of fun in these days too! I'm about to go at a friend's house, we'll party a bit over there and then move to another house where there's a toga party of some sort 🙂
