It's what I told myself. $0.60 a month so far for 3 models of cards is not that much out of my pockets. Plus, if I start selling them, I might get enough time to really make a lot 🙂 And they are made with love! 😀

That's partly because the BBC doesn't want to host it in this country, and we tend to have rubbish performers!
 
I've seen clips of eurovision tonight because my mum is watching it....Graham Norton is really annoying.
 
How did Denmark come 23rd? They had one of the few songs that were actually any good. (from what i heard of it anyway. I don't have the patience to watch eurovision 😛)

I'm not even surprised England nearly came last.

I swear every country picks the worst possible performers because none of the countries actually wants to win!

Do they still do it that the previous year's winner hosts it? If so, why on Earth would you want to win? You have to put on a production which panders to TV companies from all over Europe but doesn't actually provide any useful purpose. Maybe it does make money for that nation but I doubt it.

I think the economics of it are that it costs a lot for the country that hosts it, but for everybody else it's a very cheap Saturday evening's viewing in television terms- the last time I checked I don't think it cost the BBC £1 million because the host broadcaster makes all the arrangements for hotels, technical set-up and so on. All the other broadcasters have to do is carry the feed. As things stand, because the UK puts a bit more into the pot than other countries and has done since it started, we go straight to the final.

Politics have always played a part- the last time I watched the whole spectacle was about 20 years ago, and you could always guarantee that Greece and Cyprus would give each other maximum points, for example.

Woke up this morning to see my mom getting all ready to go out (at 8AM on a Sunday...) so I asked if we (because we usually do grocery shopping and other week-end stuff together) were going anywhere. Her answer: "You can sit on your butt all day again if you want, I have stuff to do."

....

Is it really necessary to rub it in my face that nobody wants to hire me and that I can't even start school before October (instead of the end of August) because of the students strike????

Anyways, please keep going. Little outburst here...

Summer was here. Not today. Don't bother me that much though. Sun and heat don't agree with me. We've had some "great" weather which basically knocks me out. So besides working more (yay) I tend to use the time to recover. Oh well.

I'm glad that Sweden won Eurovision. I love Loreen. Hosting it next year I don't care about in the "honour" way. As been said, it costs too much.
 
There was a storm early this morning... Real big one with lots of thunder :S
There's another planned for tonight, so I guess I won,t go to my singing practice.... Good thing I know the song by heart 🙂

Also, it is really summer... They say with the humidex factor, we should hit the 38C this afternoon O_O
 
Second day of the holidays! Yay! 😀 Summer sun and funny conversations with friends! Uhh yeah this must be paradise! 🙂No work, no school no nothing for the next week! Do you have hollidays too?

But then I shouldn't have to go back for long after that until I'm completely done with college 😀

This heat is making me feel lethargic though 😛

I have 5 days off this week in between job - does that count as a holiday? No, probably not, but I am going to Bali on the 23rd of June. 5 star resort and nothing but cocktails, pools, asian food and massages 🙂
